I am almost sure that is not possible to downgrade the bootloader. You can brick your phone. That's what I have read on this forum.

No SIM found - CM 12 - Lollipop

My current settings: Moto G XT1045 Peregrine Single SIM T-Mobile CM11 (4.4.4) Rooted

In order to upgrade to CM12, I had to upgrade my bootloader from x4110 to x411A. This made the screen flicker, but my device was reading SIM card just fine with CM11 (after bootloader update).

After upgrading the bootloader, I flashed my phone with CM12 nightly (9/18/15) and GApps (stock). The upgrade went just fine, the phone functioned normally, all apps were running, no major issue - except one. I was able to log on to wifi, take pictures with camera and play music & videos.

However, the phone did not recognize the SIM card. It kept saying no SIM card installed. Here are the list of things I tried to fix the issue:
1. Clear dalvik cache and system cache from Recovery, Reboot, did not solve the problem.
2. Took the SIM out, put it back in. DId not work. Reboot, did not solve the problem.
3. Put the phone to airplane mode, put it back to normal. Did not work.
4. Went to bootloader, erased modemst1 and modemst2 using fastboot, Reboot, did not solve the problem.
5. Tried resetting the APN to default, did not solve the problm.

Any idea?

Hi, which one is better, clean update or dirty update?

You mention in clean update that point 1: disable all feature that have been updated between your nightly n new update. What does it mean? How to disable?

Usualy i install nightly just flash latest nightly then wipe system, dalvic, cache. Is that correct method? So far i did withkt any problems

Clean update isn't mandatory at all, that only can help when there are issues coming after updating (like major changes that didn't go well with a dirty update)
with disabling, I mean that if there are some theme related commits it is good to revert to stock theme not to play with the devil ;)

Hi did u mention no. 4 that

No 4. Format /system, /cache and /dalvik-cache (advance format in wipe menu of TWRP); do NOT Wipe DATA!

Did u mean (advanced wipe) wipe system/ cache/dalvik cache. Am i right? Because if we format data all application will gone..

Yes,
i'm talking about the advanced wipe menu :); the format data button or the factory-reset slide will kill your personal data and apps

Hey guys, I installed CM12.1 the nightly of 6th Oct for the first time on my phone. It has the issue which it randomly reboots several times when I'm not home with Wi-Fi open, which as I checked is reported by many users. Is there any fix or a known build without that problem?
