This might be silly, but I've become rather partial to the stock news & weather widget (I think it used to be called GenieWidget?).
In CM10, it was 1Xwhatever because it was re-sizable. But in CM11, it's much larger and has a lot of blank space. I tried a different launcher that claims the ability to re-size widgets, bit it would only change the width, not the height. Maybe it's the widget?
Is there a way in KitKat to re-size widgets?
EDIT: It would seem to be a problem with the widget. When I go to place it, the pre-place window says it's supposed to be 3x1. Shouldn't that be 1x3 (according to the preview)?
