lol... 1st try to unlock bootloader of realme1 andAs confirmed by the CEO of realme that realme 2Pro is coming with snapdragon 660 chipset...it's easier now to get the customs for that device ...please guys be ready to work on it...as colorOs sucks...
realme2 also have snapdragon 450 processor..I have read that it's easier to make custom ROMs for snapdragon devices now realme 2pro is coming with that..and supports for project treble
lets hope oppo will allow unlocking bootloader or some expert member of xda find loop whole thn only it can be possible..Then how...?
Hello Mate,Cant we just use Kingoroot or other apps to root the phone and then flash custom recovery using rashr or flashify?
Point # 1 : Realme phones do not have a fastboot recovery installed. So there is literally no way to unlock the bootloader without entering fastboot recovery mode ( correct me if I am wrong ).Then how...?

What we can do with it until unless the source code is released
Yes dude you are correct. I know that unlocking bootloader isnt available for realme. The give an option of OEM unlocking which is just of no use without fastboot. I just wanted to try old methods XD. Btw, if u google, a lot of other sites show how to install twrp in realme phones. I didnt try cuz m afraid i will brick my phone. Should I try?Hello Mate,
You are in the opposite direction.
Kingroot and other such rooting apps only root old devices ( by old I mean devices launched literally 2-3 years back ). Technology has changed now. And also the Android Security and OS integration has changed with time.
New devices now have to have a custom recovery first and then you can root the device through that custom recovery with Magisk OR SuperSU. And to install the custom recovery, you need to unlock the bootloader.
So going step wise in ascending order it is --> Unlock Bootloader --> Install Custom Recovery --> Flash Root App ( Magisk / SuperSU ) --> Enjoy

Point # 1 : Realme phones do not have a fastboot recovery installed. So there is literally no way to unlock the bootloader without entering fastboot recovery mode ( correct me if I am wrong ).
Point # 2 : Even if there is any way to unlock the bootloader, there is no Official support from Realme for unlocking the bootloader which means you lose the warranty the moment you unlock your bootloader.
Point # 3 : Realme is currently working on their own brand new UI different than Color OS which will take at least Q3 of 2019 so don't expect any Official support.
What we can do :
ALL the Realme users should put up a request to Realme for providing Official bootloader unlocking support just like Xiaomi so that we can all enjoy some cool custom roms or maybe tweak the Color OS as we want. The more the requests the more Realme will listen to us.
A dedicated Realme Official Community Forum is going to start on October 31 where we all can put our requests for providing bootloader unlocking support as well as for changes and bug fixes in the current Color OS. I guess the request for changes in the Color OS UI will only happen in the new Realme UI as they will take suggestions from us that what we want and then apply that in the new Realme UI which they will provide later. Also we know that Realme will still be related to Oppo for at least 1-2 years more so don't expect a BIG difference like a nearly Stock Android type of Realme UI. The new Realme UI will definitely be somewhat like a copy of iOS just like the ColorOS of Oppo and Funtouch of Vivo.
( FYI : Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus are all brother companies who are under 1 single Parent company which is BBK Electronics and even if Realme has now seperated from Oppo, I assume it is still under BBK Electronics, so all these 4 smartphones companies are actually just 1 single company operating with different sub brand name.

Clickbait. This article is under development and needs an update. OPPO has high security on their smartphones & needs individual development. This is a newly launched smartphone, therefore, will take some time. I will update the article ASAP
