Good news guys
Either this is fake or Mr. Madhav Seth has tweeted this and then deleted it.
I am going for the 1st option as I am following him and keep checking his tweets day and night just for this good news but I did not get any notification of this tweet and neither is this tweet available on his official twitter handle.

Interestingly, he has replied to me on twitter, that they are working on a possibility to provide bootloader unlocking since the ColorOS does not have a fastboot recovery mode.

Also he has replied to another person saying that bootloader unlocking is definitely on their list but not in the priority list. It is kept secondary. The only reason "I" think behind this is that they are working on a new Realme UI which will solve all the issues and inconveniences of the ColorOS and of course any company will give their own official UI first priority than to custom ROMS.

See this attached screenshot of his reply to me and another screenshot of his reply about bootloader unlocking.

Thats somewhat good news. But still custom roms are much better. But regarding fastboot mode, if there is no fastboot mode in color os recovery, then the only way to get one is to flash a different recovery provided by the official company. Else its next to impossible right?

Right. but I don't think Realme will think of adding a custom recovery in the ColorOS with fastboot mode. ColorOS belongs to Oppo. So they better not play with it. Rather I think Realme will give a new Realme UI which will have its own recovery where fastboot mode will also be available and then we all can root the phone and flash custom ROMs.

But once fastboot mode is available, don't forget to get behind Realme like a Bull and ask for Kernel Source Codes, coz without the codes, we will never have a fully functional and 100% stable custom ROM. Source codes are required for fixing all the minor and major Bugs of custom ROMs which will make the ROM fully stable for day to day usage.

LOL! IN YOUR DREAMS BUDDY! xD
Oppo-RealMe = Won't allow you to unlock your bootloader!
Best Specs killed by bad OEM+OS!
For further info check RealMe1 + ReaMe2 xda pages xD
As far as I know, realme themselves have said that they will unlock the bootloaders for realme 1 and 2 pro in the first quarter of 2019.
