this link is for stock recovery? can i update from android 10 soft a42?

Yes you can, it was the version I had this morning .42. This is the Android 11 version they are sending via OTA, I downloaded OZIP to the PC. You can try to install on the smartphone.

I just can't root with the method described here that previously worked.

Use that one to patch the boot just like normal?
Did you update to android 11 first then patch the boot and flash it?
Thanks for replying!

EDIT: works like a charm, except my fingerprint reader doesn't show up anymore

The steps I had to take to root my Realme X50 Pro.

I was on Android 11, I couldn't root, I had to rollback with the following .ozip file - https://izq1i8.s.cld.pt

I recorded it to the smartphone memory and installed it from recovery mode.

After performing rollback to Android 10 I went to Realme EU website to download the latest version of the .ozip file and installed it by recovery mode - https://download.c.realme.com/osupdate/RMX2076EU_11_OTA_0420_all_CzQ779yq9fLp.ozip

To root on Android 10 I followed the steps in the following forum:

Convert .oZip do Zip - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...rom-firmware-from-twrp-orangefox-etc.4065277/

Root: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/realme-x50-pro-root.4150695/

After rooting Realme with Magisk I went looking for new updates and downloaded the c.18 version but without installing.

Location OTA file - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...update-file-from-realme-oppo-devices.4036773/

I looked for the .Ozip file in the phone memory using the X-plore application and proceeded to the process of converting the .Ozip to Zip to extract the boot and vmbeta file

I installed Android 11.c18 that I had downloaded on my phone and rooted it using the following magisk - https://izlkbl.s.cld.pt

I installed the .apk file and followed the same steps used to root Android 10.

Hello, i have the RMX2075 version (not sure what's different with RMX2076 by the way..?) updated it to last version, which is "RMX2075_11_C.25". I wanted to root, for that i needed the boot.img file, i found on andrealmefirmware.com the fimrware "RMX2075GDPR_11_C.25" - GDPR means EU too, so i thought it's the right one. I extracted vbmeta and boot files with OFP extractor and patched the boot with magisk, then went in fasboot mode and entered the commands to root which can be found here.

Problem : phone won't boot, i get the warning "boot/recovery has been destroyed, phone cannot boot". I have had the ozip of an older firmware in the phone storage, but it refused to flash, because older! Not sure it was a mistake but i did format data. Anyway, RealmeFlashTool won't flash that "RMX2075GDPR_11_C.25" firmware, it says "cannot find directory". I'm stuck.. Anybody has the boot.img of that specific "RMX2075_11_C.25"? Or any instructions on how to recover.. Hope to get replies, thanks!

Ok, good news : when i flash the original boot.img of that "RMX2075GDPR_11_C.25" firmware, i don't get the error and i can boot. I still don't understand why it won't boot after i enter those :

fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Which i patched with magisk (tried various versions). It doesn't make much sense to me..? Also would like to know which firmware file i need to downgrade to RUI 1.0 (and where to find it).
