I just bought an unlocked LG G4 US991 a few days ago on eBay (absolutely mint...I cannot tell it has ever been used) that is blacklisted by USCC (I knew it is was blacklisted); it was bought to use as the 5th line on a Cricket plan - which works great...as does T-Mobile). It arrived today. Info = security level to June 1, 2016; kernel 3.10.84; build # MRA58K; software version US99121a sub SW version 02. Oops, Android 6.0.
For giggles I tried my Verizon postpaid sim card in it, since it has the applicable radio support. 3G/voice/SMS/MMS work fine, but I cannot get the device to save an APN. Is there something simple I am forgetting or not doing to be able to add a Verizon APN?

After some toying around in the service menus (*#546368#*991# and ##PROGRAM991), voila, 4G LTE on Verizon with a $51 LG G4. Now, to get rid of the dang triangle roaming icon next to the 3G/LTE/WiFi icon (unless it means something else now). I know 100% it is not roaming.
