Reboots & Overheating

Hello, I have Htc Sensation rooted, and whenever I try to play Any game it get freezed and reboots after 5-10 minutes of playing and also gets hot.
My processor is not overclocked. I tried to flash different roms and different kernels but without any result. It still reboots and I think it is a hardware problem.
How can I check what's the problem? If is a processor problem or something with cooling functionality?
Please can anyone help?

What ROM you are using now ?

Maybe you should just lower CPU frequency? Or change governor?
I know an issue like yours in Xperia x10, the CPU went hot and phone reboots. It was hardware problem and SE replaced motherboard in my x10.

I checked my temperature and it gets too hot while gaming or connected to wifi for some time. That is the problem.
I tried to play a game with a glass of ice over the phone and it worked. No reboots.
I don't know what to do. It is cpu problem

My cpu frequency its 1188 ghz. Normal sensation. I tried to underclock at 1 ghz and 900 mhz but nothing. It still reboots.

I must find a way to cool my cpu. I think i have to make a cooler with ice :crying:

You said you'd tried with different kernels/roms and still got the same issue, so try to run proper ICS RUU, and see if your phone acts like before on its stock ROM or not. In case it did, then it's the time to think hardware-wise.

I think this is a nice idea. Do you know how to get back to stock rom? I have to lock bootloader again and un-root? What are the steps?

just relock the bootloader
then run the ruu.exe from your pc
