Hi!
Could this script be used to update firmware without loosing root and bootloader?

Unfortunately not - if you rebrand
Changing oeminfo must be done with closing Bootloader and Low-level Factory reset (wipe of the internal storage) and flashing FullOTA-MF Firmware. The script is doing everything automatically and it's just required to press different Buttons between. (the script tells you which ones)
After this steps you can open with the same script the Bootloader again.
USB must be connected during all steps.

But if you just update your Firmware (on Nougat) the Skript does not wipe your data and not lock the Bootloader - except if the Firmware does it.
I updated from b502 to b503 without loosing anything.

Yes my friend, my phone is P9 EVA-DL00. But was rebrand to L19. I had use yours MagicRainbow Roms without any problem and working both sims.

Yes, rebranding from Chinese Phone with Dual SIM (on P9) to L19 (which has also Dual SIM) is working with both SIM.
The same also with rebranding from L19 to Chinese Phone (AL10, AL00, DL00 etc)
But not from L09 (which has Single SIM) to L19 or Chinese brands..

BTW: Have you a Backup (TWRP) from your DL00 oeminfo?
Because there's one for DL00-c17 and one for DL00-c00.
Which one was your original?
I have in HWOTA7 only the c17 variant of DL00 and it would be fine to get also the c00 variant

So I need to download 3 firmwares right? Do you have any recommendations on what Treble ROM to flash on our device (where if possible everything works)?

Yeah, Windows 10 makes several problems with phones. Mate 10 phone for example will not be recognized unless you install the Windows 10 Fix.

I have Windows 8.1 and here everything works.
I have no idea at the moment to solve it on Windows 10.

But on Windows 8.1 it's required to execute the update_eng.bat NOT as Administrator (only double click)

Are you sure, you have the HWOTA7 folder in the main directory of C:\ ?
If it can't work on Windows 10 from C:\ you can try it from Desktop. (If Desktop isn't on D:\)

Nope, if you have original EVA-L19c636 I would try directly rebrand to EVA-AL10c00 B399Sp17a and after upgrade to Oreo

If you want to Unroot, do following:
Download from xda - Huawei Extractor
Extract update.zip and open with Huawei Extractor the UPDATE.APP
Extract ramdisk.img
Flash it in Fastboot mode (fastboot flash ramdisk RAMDISK.IMG)
Uninstall Magisk Manager.
That's all
