I got a pop up notification "UICC Unlock" that says my SIM is now unlocked. This happened while I was in the shower and playing music via Bluetooth. I haven't taken the zv5 update not have I attempted the just released root method. Is anyone able to explain this and what it means? Thank you.

That means your phone has been unlocked for GSM/International use. IE. your phone has been unlocked. (not your bootloader) This usually occurs when you tell Sprint you need to travel internationally.

Thanks for the reply. I find it interesting because I've been reading posts regarding Sprint's reluctance to unlock phones (not bootloaders). I never asked for it but I'll take it as I seem to get faster data speeds on Global with little to no affect on battery life.
