Recommendation for a fast ROM for the 2GB/16GB version

Hi!

I have tried the official LOS 15.1 ROM and, while very good, I find it a bit slow (on the 2GB version). Any recommendations for a speedy ROM? (I do not mind going back to 7.1.2...)

i use /e/ rom, it's very smooth because it uses microg instead of google app. Everything seems to be ok for daily driver, no bug i noticed so far.

It's based on lineage os 14.1 but still update till now.

Since our phone is no longer maintained i've decided to build lineage 14.1 for myself.
I'll do it once or twice a month when there are updates.
