Recommendation for "play service free" ROM

Hello,

got an oneplus 6T and now I´m looking for an custom Rom with NO google play service on it. Just slim, fast and reliable, no special purpose, I´m fine with F-Droid and a little privacy....

Only "always on" stock VPN should work flawless.


Any recommendations you can make?

LineageOS is usually the standard rom suggestion for this.

Ok, thanks, thought there may be other recommendable ROMs, with focus on privacy too.

The most descriptions of the Roms are very common(e.g. ..."fast, stable, and feature-filled"...) so better I ask before trying out all 18 Roms here
