Recover Atrix 4G brick when battery fails during flash / Turbo charge enabler > 500mA
This is useful for people who have bricked their atrix during flashing because of battery shortage...
Providing > 500 mA, enough for the device to boot...
Here is how:
There are 2 methods. It is based on USB data pin shorting:
-I- USB cable:
-II- 1000 mA or more external power supply.
It wont matter if you short the data pins with any side.
What I did:
I disassembled an external USB HUB, shorted the DATA pins from the inside, while leaving the PCB DATA pins seperate...
So, any cable would work on that port.
I'v successfully booted into recovery without battery, except booting into ROM would cause bootloop...
Note: If you have the original Motorola USB charger (850 mA) no need to do all this, you can still boot into recovery without a battery...

There are 2 methods. It is based on USB data pin shorting:
-I- USB cable:
- Buy an extra cheap USB-microusb cable
- Remove part of the cable shielding
- Cut the two data wire (White, Green)
- Solder the two data wires (White, Green) from the phone side (microUSB), NOT FROM THE HOST SIDE (PC) : <[_-_] USB , {} Microusb>
[ _-_]------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------{} GND (black)
[ _-_]---------------------------------------------------------------i |-----------------------------------------------------------{} #DATA (white)
[ _-_]---------------------------------------------------------------i |-----------------------------------------------------------{} #DATA (green)
[ _-_]------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------{} 5V (red)
Leave the 2 wires marked as 'i' seperate, and seal them with tape(avoid shorts)... While solder the wires '|' with each other...
Shorting the Data wire from the PC side might damage the USB Hub controller...
