Hello,
I have a Ulefone S8 Pro. Because Ulefone used Android 7.0 StockROM, the Recovery-Mode contains the optins "backup user-data" and "restore user-data".

I installed magisk-app, modified the boot.img (took from ROM-Image from Ulefone) and copied it to PC.

After that, I used this backup-feature in recovery-mode to make a backup of my device --> generate files about 12GB on sd-card

Then, I unlocked the Bootloader via adb and flashed the modified boot.img

After that, I restored the user-data via restore-feature in Recovery-Mode.

But after booting, android always says that there is an error in encryption.
There is only 1 option which I can select --> factory reset.

What I already tried:
- tried to lock bootloader again (fastboot oem lock, fastboot flashing lock), but this do not work, --> locking failed, dont know why --> restore failed with encryption error message
- flashed the original boot.img from ulefone stock file, --> restore failed with encryption error message
- flashed the original boot.img from ulefone stock file, tried to lock bootloader --> still failes --> restore failed with encryption error message

What can I do to restore my user-data?

Thanks.
