TY for the post man I did the same thing. Stupid of me I guess but it still happened. I was in the process of looking for the phone/modem flash when I came across this.
Is the hellraiser up to date, or do we have to flash the 112311 afterwards?BTW, at this point, if one REALLY wants to continue using whatever ROM they flashed, they can flash Hellraiser on top of it.
Won't be updated until Sunday or Monday. Is the hellraiser up to date, or do we have to flash the 112311 afterwards?

Well, to answer my own question, yes mobile odin will flash the correct version to the device. Just needed to get mobile odin, its support files, and the correct version of clockworkmod recovery on my sdcard than I used mobile odin to load the right clockworkmod. -- BudCan someone give me a tip on how to recover from installing the wrong version (i9100) of clockworkmod recovery? I can't seem to boot the phone to download mode with clockworkmod recovery installed. Can I use mobile Odin to fix this somehow? Thanks. -- Bud
read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313659If you are unable to reset the flash counter with a jig, you may have a modified version of the secondary bootloader, perhaps from flashing one of the leaked versions of I777 firmware onto your phone, and will need to flash back to the I777 Stock sbl.bin in order to clear the flash counter.
If your flash counter says that your phone is an I9100, you have an I9100 secondary bootloader, probably from flashing an I9100 rom onto your phone, and you will need to flash back to the I777 Stock sbl.bin to correct the flash counter. You will also probably need to flash the stock param.lfs back onto your phone.
If you get the error "'logo_att.jpg' draw failed", you will need to replace the param.lfs with the I777 Stock param.lfs.
Necessary files and flashing instructions for these are in the Downloads Repository.
Baseband is the modem. Go the the development sticky with modems and get the I777 modem you want, and flash with CWM recovery. If everything else on your phone is working, you don't have to flash return to stock.OK, I think this is the right thread cause I'm kinda in the same boat. I flashed a I9100 ROM last night, and when I tried to flash the hellraiser zip, it said aborted file. Bad, and would not flash. I had already flashed the rom though, so before I booted everything up, I wiped everything( cache/dalvik/factory rest) and restored my nandroid backup. I.thought all was well and went to bed as the phone seemed to be working fine. Today however I find out that my phone does not have any soundwhen itryto make a phone call. It will call out and connect. But I can't hear squat and neither can other person.can i just flash entropys return to stock rom through odin when I get home and everything will be back to neat? I'm hoping I just accidentally flashed wrong radio some how and its a simple fix.or is there a fix that ican do on my phone so I don't have Togo the rest of the daywith no call capability. Other than call not working every thong else works fine.sorry for long post. Thanks for the help on advance
Edit ...checked flash counter and it still said sgh-i777 WHEW! Didn't flash wrong boot loadersentropys return to stock should do the trick. Lesson learned.verify file is good before trying to flash it lol......umm but my baseband in about phone is xxxkl4.am I screwed? Was trying to flash checkrom.
Dude you are the best. Fix was simpler than I thought. Thank you very much.Baseband is the modem. Go the the development sticky with modems and get the I777 modem you want, and flash with CWM recovery. If everything else on your phone is working, you don't have to flash return to stock.
Edit: But if you have stock 3e recovery, you can use the modem.bin which you can extract from the CWM flashable zip, and use the instructions in my Guide, linked in my signature, to flash it with adb or terminal emulator. You need to be rooted.
Exclamation mark and the i9100 just tells you you're not running a stock firmware and kernel, if you wanna get rid of it you got two choices, one is download triangle away from chainfire, search it up, if not and you wanna go completely stock again then read this guideok, so I flashed my galaxy s 2 using the i9100, i get the issue with no sound while on a call.
Ive restored it, but still get the exclamation at beginning and the gt-i9100 logo.
Can anyone please explain this process in a non rocket scientist way please? I see a bunch of abbreviations and saying do this step, but if you dont know how to do that step it doesn't help.
From what I understand I can get rid of the exclamation if I load ics up on my phone, after Ive done that can I reflash it back to the gingerbread firmware and make it look like its stock again?
You may not be done. Depends on what was contained in the I9100 package you flashed. But if you can still get into download mode by holding vol- and vol+ while plugging the phone into usb, and if your flash counter text says I777, then you should be fine.ok, so I flashed my galaxy s 2 using the i9100, i get the issue with no sound while on a call.

I have done something similar on my i9100. I flashed Slimbean rom and lost my mic. I have flashed back to Vodafone Ireland stock rom from samfirmware and still no mic. Exact same symptoms as you.I've spent the last 2 days trying to fix my mistake. I have the GS2 ATT version, and I didn't realise there was a difference between that and the GTI9100 S2.
I wanted to give some tips I learned on how to recover your phone if you make this mistake.
First, here are some posts you'll want to look at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286432 - Stock firwmware
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285823 - Clockworkmod for the ATT

Using Odin and the stock firmware, you can recover your phone to a 95% working state. Once I got my stock firmware on there, I found that while making calls my phone made no sound, and the mic didn't work. The mic did work when I wasn't making calls though.
I reflashed the modem.bin file found on the stock firmware, not sure if its required but that is what I did first. Then, I unpacked the rooted stock firmware, and flashed JUST THE zImage file. After doing this, I rebooted, and my calls were working again.
After that, I installed the correct version of Clockworkmod, and then CM7 nightly. Now everything seems to be running great on my phone.
Hope this helps someone out there,

You should go to the i9100 section, that's what you should do.I have done something similar on my i9100. I flashed Slimbean rom and lost my mic. I have flashed back to Vodafone Ireland stock rom from samfirmware and still no mic. Exact same symptoms as you.
I have rooted the stock rom and reflashed the modem.bin file - no joy.
Trying to flash the repackaged zimage file as pda.tar but odin is failing. I am using 7zip to package zImage - PDA.tar. Should I be doing something else.
I even tried flashing an older stock firmware but nothing appears to be working.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
Not to mention this thread has been dead for almost a year. Must've had a big shovel. You should go to the i9100 section, that's what you should do.

Wow, thanks for the tip. I'm certainly not a noob when it comes to flashing roms and rooting phones. but these samsungs are a different animal for sure. Thanks for the tip!For any other noobs out there who're reading this post, directions for the first part.
Start phone in recovery mode.
Flash modem.bin in Odin in the Phone spot, leave all other settings alone.

For the second part, how do I flash just the zImage file? Here's what I tried:
Reboot. Turn off.
Start phone in recovery mode.
Take stock firmware, unpack, create new PDA.tar with just the zImage file and flash using Odin. Flash in PDA spot, leave all other settings alone.
It got stuck during flashing. I'm guessing the flashing package relies on the .img file as well? I apologize if this is beyond noob, but I got into this situation because I'm beyond noob, but I'm trying to learn.
*edit*
I decided to turn off the phone and reboot, and it seems to be working. Thanks!
