Ok, went through the "UNABLE TO DECRYPT FBE DEVICE" issue. I almost broke everything. TWRP didn't allow me to fix anything, so I installed OrangeFox zip first from TWRP and booted into OrangeFox,
then format data, reboot in OF
wiped everything and did another format data, DIDN'T REBOOT THIS TIME
flashed latest miui zip (12.5.8 RKFINXM) and then LineageOS BACK TO BACK.
Format data ONCE MORE,
reboot
and that did the trick.
(Sweet/Sweetin) users be careful when using Pixel ROMS, I think that creates the FBE issue. If you get stuck because of FBE, either flash a pixel rom or follow the steps that I mentioned above.

As I understand backup does not work on this recovery. Am I right?
In MIUI 12.5 Android 11, I try backup and restore without error but can't boot.
- Backup -> OK
- Format Data > Restore -> OK
But on reboot, my phone always boot into recovery instead of MIUI, it give error "can't set policy /data/misc".
When I format data again, it can boot but losing all data.

Ok, but what partition you selected for backup.
On old phones, I chose data (user data) and System (firmware) partition for backup. Here, for example, there is no System section at all.

I choose all, on android 11, system partition is included in Super partition.
I think change since android 10 (super partition, encryption) makes twrp not working properly.

Everytime I try to wipe my phone I get following errors

Code:
Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps
Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Formatting Cache using mke2fs...
Done.
Updating partition details...
...done

Any idea how to fix them?

Unfortunately latest Jun 2021 twrp 3.5.2 from Nebrassy won't work (failed to decrypt) on my friend device with latest A11 Global Miui 12.5.x. There's floating unofficial modification of nebrassy twrp 3.5.2 in RN10Pro telegram group, it works, but unfortunately as usual, the source isn't exposed.

It wasn't an unofficial modification, that build was by Nebrassy as well.

You can try an older version, in 3.5.2 I got the same error. But in 3.5.1, I can mount internal storage and format data

    Introduction:

Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch driven user interface , no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

    Key Features:

Touchscreen driven with real buttons and drag-to-scroll
XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
Settings are saved to the sdcard and persist through reboots
Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
    Onscreen keyboard
    Easy selection of internal/external storage

In addition to the above new features, TWRP features a scripting engine that allows an app to send commands to the recovery for the recovery to perform during startup. We call this scripting engine OpenRecoveryScript. This engine will be put to use immediately in the GooManager app. GooManager will be able to install recoveries automatically for most supported devices. The app will also let you choose to install multiple zips from within Android, wipe, and run a backup.

We are looking for other talented developers, themers, and device maintainers if they are interested in helping with a free, open source project.

    Source Code:

    Gerrit Instance - http://gerrit.twrp.me

If you have made your own TWRP build for an unsupported device, please let us know. We might add your build to the list of unofficial builds. Bear in mind that we are working hard to add more devices and we may add your device to our official build list later.

Hi folks! First, thanks, Nebrassy for gettin TWRP going on this phone!

I'm using 3.5.1 10.0 and so far have been unsuccessful at restoring any backups I make. The restore appears to succeed but upon boot I get a boot loop before going back to recovery. Are others having this issue?
    - if you are trying to restore backups of encrypted data, you'll most likely fail with restore
    - the only way how to use restore backup function properly AFAIK is to use decrypted storage/data and before backup remove any lockscreen protection (pin, pattern, password) from android, check this for more hints as what to expect (it is written for other phone, but most of it applied also on sweet)
