I'm also stuck at the twrp screen, and I don't know what to do... Should I install the stock recovery or I have to download the whole rom(3.5g), I'm asking this bbecause the websites I tried to download the stock firmware from have really slow download speeds and its taking forever to download the recovery file let alone the whole rom.

I am trying to install TWRP on my samsung A50 and I followed the steps given by @redymedan

Steps to flash TWRP clearly
------------------------------
1. Open ODIN software
2. In Option make sure to ticked F.Reset Time only and disable Auto-Reboot.
3. In Files Download ticked AP and pointing to the location of TWRP .tar file
4. Wipe data / Factory reset: Turn power off, press and hold Volume up + Power Key, when Samsung logo appears release all key. 5. Select Wipe data / Factory reset and confirm. Select Reboot to Bootloader.
6. Connect your Samsung Galaxy to PC using USB Cable. Odin software will auto detect port of your device, after detected device, klik Start, wait for a moment.
7. To get out of Download mode and Enter TWRP Recovery mode: Press and hold Volume Down + Power key, when screen blanks release Volume down only and quickly press Volume Up key. Release all keys when TWRP Recovery appears.
8. Once TWRP is booted, decrypt data partition touch Wipe>Format Data and follow the instructions in screen.
9. Once it finished go back at the home screen and touch Reboot> Recovery
10. WARNING!!! Don't reboot to system after flashing TWRP, and that's wrong since once you reboot to system after flashing TWRP and without flashing the RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2 will immediately trigger RMM Prenormal lock.
11. Select Install - Select Storage - Micro SD Card, First install RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2,
12. Open Advanced - File manager and go to system/system and rename recovery-from-boot.p to recovery-from-boot.p.bak ( Make sure system is mounted )
13. Install Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_05.21.2019
14. Reboot to System it need more time.. just be patient!

Steps was working as per the instructions without any errors. I was able to get into TWRP and installed all the additional zip files as per the above instructions. I was able to boot successfully in to phone from TWRP "Reboot system", first time. However, I power off and power on the phone and like to get into android, its struck at boot window with warning message, "Only official released binary allowed to flash" and I am unable to move further with different button combinations. Attached the picture of the warning message.

Not sure why its struck even I installed RMM-State_Bypass_Messa and Disable_DM-Verity-forceEncrypt. I also checked the recovery-from-boot.p file under system/system folder. I found only the file name called recovery-from-boot.back and I assumed there stock recovery already renamed.

Can someone help me to flash the TWRP properly and how to proceed from the current bootup issue.

TIA.

TIA.

After install TWRP recovery, Select Reboot to Recovery, Don't select reboot to system! ( I think I forgot to edit the last steps no.14 )
First boot to system you must connect it to internet, let it connect about 5 minutes. If you want to restart the phone, make sure OEM unlock option color is grey.
Don't reboot system without connect to internet and OEM unlock options color is grey, it will trigger KG State to be prenormal. If it happened you must flash official ROM to make it works again.

@redymedan Thanks for your input. I flashed the latest firmware version, ASK on my phone. I was able to boot the phone without any issues. But later I realized that the TWRP wont work for ASK/ASJ (I assumed after I tried twrp and it wont work for me. Please some one confirm). Where as I was able to install TWRP on my ASE (May month release) version. Now when I try to install the ASE firmware, I am getting "SW REV. CHECK FAIL (BOOTLOADER). DEVICE : 3 BINARY: 1" error. Looks like the phone already have latest version and wont accept lower version. Is there anyway I can degrade my existing firmware version, so that I can retry TWRP with ASE.

TIA.

This TWRP is only for ASH2 firmware, you can not use it for ASK/ASJ/ASE

Is there TWRP for SK9? If yes, can someone please tell me or guide me where to get it? I have been looking for and testing for hours and hours with other versions of TWRP and the TWRP is not installed in any way on the Samsung A50 SK9 with the other versions.

Thanks

I had removed all accounts and formatted data/cache partitions before flashing the TWRP file. However, the first time I missed booting immediately in to recovery and the OS started booting instead. So, I rebooted in to recovery and it is stuck on the TWRP splash screen since then. So, did the half boot in to the OS result in encryption of the data partition once again?

Tried just about everything but still stuck on the splash screen. I don't know when the battery will run out now but do hope that I will be able to get in to download mode once it does so or otherwise I think I got myself a brick.

no needfor battery to drain, just Press volume up + down + power with USB plugged in and when the phone turn off release power and keep pressing up/down buttons. and you'll be directed to download mode

I see. Then I'll be preserving my knox for the mean time until a stable and Magisk-able TWRP is available.

There is magisk with stock recovery? Can you tell me where can I find this thread? Also will this method trip your knox? Thanks.

You can always install Magisk with stock recovery for any firmware using topjohnwu's guide over here. However, Magisk installation will always trip Knox.

Also, TWRP might be helpful in flashing various patches, especially for GSI releases that you cannot do with the stock recovery.
