Hey yes I went over to the 6z telegram group. It works fine. I'm now on arrow os. Will try switching to aex in a couple of days.

Twrp not boot

I tried to boot twrp using fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-4-I01WD.img and it boot to android
I tried to flash twrp using fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-4-I01WD.img and i get this error recovery_a no such partition
What i need to do to flash twrp?

Actually in the unofficial build there is not the TWRP app

So the main difference is that the official also installs the TWRP app ( this one) whereas the unofficial doesn't, correct?

Backup encryption does not work in the new version.
I set a password, but all files in the backup directory are not encrypted.
I can open them w/o entering password on Windows PC.

I just got this device. I unlocked the bootloader and flashed your recovery. Via ADB and then inside it I flashed the installer. Next step is to install the rom right? Do I have to do anything diferent on this device because of the all A/B slot situation?

I tried to flash Bliss ROM and LineageOS. Same error. "Error installing zip file (path of the file)".

If I flash the official TWRP it successfully installes the ROM, but always reboots to the bootloader. So I'm back to yours now.

Can you give a hint?

Problem ADB

Hello i have a problem and ill found not issue. I have ADB drivers install and when my phone is on power, ill type adb devices or adb reboot bootloader and all working... But when i am on fastboot mode no command working... it is stayblock on waiting devices...
Here my screenshot. ( maybe someone has manual drivers for me.)

When you are in fastboot mode you should see a fastboot driver or a bootloader driver and not an adb driver, if it is not automatically recognized, you should force manually the right driver

How is possible you have not the wifi? How did you flash the twrp?



Also google drivers are good, just force them, if you have an adb driver you have also a fastboot driver

I have the same issue. phone shows on adb devices when on, but not when in bootloader. Other guides say to use asus drivers but they are not on their site.

1.does anyone have those drivers
2.if not, how do I go about forcing other drivers


Edit: yeah it's dead and I replaced it.

hi i cant boot temporary to twrp recovery with "twrp-3.5.0_9-0-I01WD.img" now after i enter code fastboot boot it restart and lightning logo shows can't find solution ?

i have installed Android 11 on my Zenfone6
and it was successful, however I don't have TWRP anymore.
So, I started to installed TWRP 3.4 but i messed up my TWRP / recovery and now my Zenfone does not have TWRP nor root [Magisk] either.

anyone know which TWRP works with Android 11 on Zenfone6 ?
