Maby a dumb question, but if i root this phone i read that it will be in a L3 state. Is it like samsung knox? Or will i be able to go back to stock with L1 state (or what it is when its untouched). I have rooted many phones earlier, but with all the security and breaking root can do like for samsung i just want to hear with you guys before I do anything.

Sent from my Realme RMX1931 using XDA Labs
Did you ever find an answer to your question?

I am rooted. My first device had damaged battery, so I asked here how to relock before send it back to Amazon. @Jerry08 told me that we can remove root and relock BL.

TWRP 3.3.1-13 for Realme X2 Pro (RMX1931) by mauronofrio:
- Fully support for Android 10 Decryption.
- Fixed Stock Android 10 rom flashing.

TWRP 3.3.1-13 Unofficial by mauronofrio
Thank you, VBMETA for Android 10 is still the same to flash?
Possible to do it on my configured stock device on Android 10 but with open BL or is clean flash with data wipe necessary to get it working / booting?

Hi @mauronofrio! Thanks for your amazing work. : )

I've flash the latest twrp (over the previous) in twrp. No wipes or flashing vbmeta.img. Now, the phone bootloops into recovery.

I've tried this "fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img" with the vbmeta file you have here, but I does not fix the problem.

Can I do something to solve this that keeps my rom, files, etc.? Thanks!

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

/*

 *

 * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,

 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if

 * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

 *

 */

Features:

- Decryption works

- Flash Indian Stock .ozip roms works

- Flash Roms works

- Mtp works

- Backup works

- .ozip flash

- Android 10 Support

To Flash the TWRP:

if it's the first time you flash the TWRP or you are getting problems of TWRP lost or device doesn't boot after flashed magisk or something else you need to flash a modified vbmeta:

Modified VBMETA

Code:
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
To flash the TWRP:

Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-xx-xxxxxx-mauronofrio.img
Then reboot in TWRP manually.

hi have the same problems. please help us always loop in recovery
Hi! I had to format data a lost all my things. I wonder what I'm doing wrong, or if there's a way of updating twrp without having to format data - I realized it has to do with encryption.

Wait a bit, see if anyone reply. If not, format data (the one with the yes option) and set up your phone one more time.

I tried to restore stock ROM and it would not boot. After wiping a few things it seems like decryption isnt working as there is a folder called 0 (in the internal storage) and it contains 65 gb (as much as i had in data before) of folders and files with random naming (example: +VQTLRbyvKIk3kK7e3cRoD). Its also not asking for my password for decryption. Is there a way to get my data back?
