Hi,

I have followed the steps to unlock the bootloader from https://realmeroot.com/how-to-unlock-the-boatloader-in-realme-x2-pro/
I can't go further than "Unlocking Bootloader of Realme X2 Pro" step 4 (waiting for review) because I never receive a response. I tried waiting from Friday the 22 to Sunday the 24 to no avail.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I had the same problem.
I have "fixed" it with the back botton. I have wait about 10 minutes, hit the back bottun one time and start the prozess again. After the "restart" i got immediately the next step and after i pressed start the phone restarts to bootloader. The last step with "fastboot flashing unlock" unlocks my bootloader.

I have now successfully unlocked the bootloader on my EU version phone. Now I'd like to install TWRP 3.3.1.-7 by mauronofrio. Ist it still necessary to install first x2Pro_bulidproppatch.zip first, as you write in your post #72, or can I flash Magisk directly now?
(Sorry for these questions but I'm not such an experienced user and I try to avoid bricking my phone because this might bring me into bigger trouble).

TWRP test error

Once I try to test TWRP 3.3.1.7 with following command:

fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-xx-RMX1931-mauronofrio.img

I get an error message. Is this problem of TWRP version?

Yes you need to flash x2_bulid.prop_patch.zip via twrpcnen.img(can't flash it yet with mauronofrio) to get fully working magisk. Without it magisk will work in "core only mode", that means no modules and no magisk hide.

"fastboot boot" command seems to be blocked in x2 Pro bootloader. I also can't boot anything with it.

You can flash SuperSU via mauronofrio TWRP, but I don't know how it will work. As I did not test SuperSU and will not test it.

Yes you can install Magisk by patching boot.img via magisk manager. But without bulid.prop_patch still you will run in core only mode.

Now after installing TWRPCNEN.IMG the phone still boots into original Realme recovery. Despite adb seemed to work.

Don't do fastboot reboot command at end... It will boot to os and restore stock recovery. You need to use options on phone(vol +/- to change and power button to accept) to boot to twrp after u flash it via fastboot.

Unable to install EU rom on CN phone in TWRP

Thanks for taking the time to answer questions from other members.

I tried to put google services on the CN version to no avail so decided to flash the rom via mauronofrio's twrp.

Within twrp, when I try to install the EU version RMX1931xxxxxx.ozip file, which is first converted to a zip file then errors out. Then I find the zip file in the same folder and try to install that one, it still fails with ERROR 7. When I select Zip signature verification option, it fails that.

Would you know why the errors? What should I next step in attempting to flash the CN rom?

I did not post guide how to flash EU rom on CN x2 Pro. But ok, I will do one more thing and I will upload TWRP backup of EU system and vendor partitions and PM you tommorow. If you will be able to boot it, I will include backup in my guides thread.

No he wasn't able to flash EU rom to CN device, he just got properly working Magisk.

NOT dots, just the phrase "query verification status" on upper right hand corner. I was a bit confused as well myself...lol
