I did not post guide how to flash EU rom on CN x2 Pro. But ok, I will do one more thing and I will upload TWRP backup of EU system and vendor partitions and PM you tommorow. If you will be able to boot it, I will include backup in my guides thread.

Sorry to crash the forum, I have the chinese realme x2, rmx1991cn. Bootloader is unlocked, but no twrp to be found or boot.img bc fw is encrypted. @mauronofrio, the kernel source is released... could you whip up a twrp?
Unfortunately there is not an .ofp rom or a boot.img or recovery.img backup or the .ozip decryption key, i need of that to make a twrp, when they will come i will start to make the twrp.

Also, @Jerry08 can you check those to see if it needs to be patched like how you did for realme x2 pro?

For properly working magisk yes, you will need to patch build.prop. If not using magisk you will be fine, but if you will want to flash magisk it will mostly likely work in core only mode. If yes then you need to copy everything from bulid_19781.prop and paste it at the end of bulid.prop.
Do we need to flash a vbmeta.img to get twrp working?
The AES key is still there for the X2 Pro.
Have a look at the partitions.
I guess there is a partition, named recovery_bak / sde40.
Could you create a backup?
Maybe this is the stock recovery backup.

How to get a working rooted system

I followed these steps on EU-Version of phone:
- Unlock bootloader
- Developer Options: enable OEM unlock, enable USB Debugging
- Flash TWRPCNEN version via adb
- Go into TWRP
- Flash Buildprop patch via TWRP
- Flash Magisk 20.1 via TWRP
- Boot into OS
- Install Canary Magisk version from XDA Site
- Update Magisk via Canary Magisk
- Finished
I'm in stage of building up my rooted system now and I do not have any problem so far. OK, FP doesn't work. But I don't care about that. May be there will be a fix in the future.

I managed to do it by pressing the back button, then clicking somewhere on the top right of the app screen. Now my phone is rooted :highfive:

Try eu boot and dtbo image from fastboot thread and patched vbmeta from my OneDrive.
No, with patched vbmeta it can only bootloop. And if it booloops than you just flash cn boot dtbo images to get it back working.
I try to unozip and delete check file and flash zip but it still cant use
Tried also to format data and clear cache after you restored backup?
