Hi guys is there any work on custom ROMs for this device because I literally just bought it and I am looking at the forums a bit worried aha, because this phone has a snapdragon 855 I am sure if we just port sources from mi mix 3 and mi 9 we should get stable ROMs working? am still waiting to unlock the sucker. After that ama just attempt to flash roms from the mi 9 and then try and get the touchscreen working.

works on my phone, but it can't decrypt data, I'm using andromeda_global_images_V10.3.18.0.PEMMIXM_20190701.0000.00_9.0_global_17a05a041b.tgz

im having the same issue, can get into twrp but it demands password and then cant decrypt anything. also can someone remeind me how to make twrp be installed properly so i dont need to use push it via fastboot everytime?

ahh hell. now everytime the phone reboots it boots to mi recovery. not just to mi recovery when hold volume up but if the phone is running and reboots or powered off then on.

if i hold volume down and force it into fastboot, then i can push twrp and tell it to reboot to twrp, it reboots and then boots into system (not twrp)

this makes no sense to me, please help!!

sorry to butt in, but LR Team got the encryption working.
the version is 3.3.1-1015 for mix 3
just in case you want to access your device via recovery

Your implying a mi mix 3 twrp will work for the mi mix 3 5g? , On top of that encryptions no big deal, I suffered with the mi a2, if you want to flash anything do it via adb sideload, it's quite quick tooo

I have the latest EEA I think and flashed and booted to twrp fine. Is this device A or A/B? I think its just A but not 100% sure

Yes the device is 100% just A there's is only ONE slot

So I've tried flashing the system from https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/releases/tag/v204 and its not worked. I tried both A and A/B since the Mi Mix 3 required A/B but still got stuck on fastboot screen

It's not as up to date as the EU one (.3.21) but there is a .3.17 at

I think you must format data. It kept happening to me on my mix2s. Not just wipe, full format typing"yes"

tried that but no avail. Ended up flashing new ROM - V10.3.21.0.PEMEUXM which i did not want. I am looking for PEMEUVF one but unable to find it anywhere.
