It should, but people have problems now and then. Only use the official twrp to flash the magisk installer, never the crdroid one
Hello can you please give me a guide on how to install twrp with the test image you have. I'm able to fastboot it. Not sure what to do after that don't want to brick my phone.I am using the same update procedure as the other guy on the linked thread. I invented it myself but i see other people found it reliable as well No problems ever and i am rooted on 11.1.2.2 .
1. Fastboot CrDroid twrp.Hello can you please give me a guide on how to install twrp with the test image you have. I'm able to fastboot it. Not sure what to do after that don't want to brick my phone.
CrDroid is "fajita_twrp-3.5.2_11-0_test3.img" *for 6t*. Install this in fastboot, it will boot into twrp. Then install 3.6 like you said. Reboot recovery (important !!) so you will be using the 3.6 and NOT the test3 one.... then install Magisk and reboot.Thank you so much. So to be sure. Use test img Which is the cdroid? Install 3.6 twrp zip. Reboot install magisk profit... Easy peasy
Please read my previous posts. Your answer is already there, just few posts ago. Not nice asking others what you can easily read alone.Hello friends, I have a big problem with my Oneplus 6T... succesfuly unlock bootloader but I cannot install twrp... of course, with the command "fastboot boot recovery.img"... I tried with mauronofrio twrp and with twrp-3.6.0_9-0-fajita.img from twrp.me. Both cases same problem... dump crash mode... I tried 5-6 times... nothing... I'm frustated, I don't know what to do... Can somebody help me please?!? Thank you.
Thank you @DaOldMan , I found crdroid recovery test and it works. Please read my previous posts. Your answer is already there, just few posts ago. Not nice asking others what you can easily read alone.
Use crdroid recovery to fastboot boot.... :
Enchilada: https://mega.nz/file/NXpQ0Jyb#k6c8sVDxVFvB57Ra7E-yqnB3Tsc61tioozmR88DxwhI
Fajita: https://mega.nz/file/pWgw2ZrR#djR1vBwh64yNcr3XnrDO2DCACPndTd8x5Z5-wTxTanQ
Then when it boots use it to flash the latest twrp install zip. You need the latest one, don't use crdroid for roms and such. Just to boot it from fastboot. Then reboot. Profit![]()
Hi sorry to bother. Just now able to get to doing this. After I fastboot the img. It's the twrp 3.6 zip I install not the img? Correct. Doesn't it ask for a decryption key when you start TWRP ? If yes, use the pin you use to unlock the device. If not, that's a big bummer.I installed offical TWRP v.3.6.0_9-0 on A12 PXOSP ROM and it works fine, but just that data is encryped. Is there any way to get data decrypted in this TWRP? Thanks.

Sorry to ask but Im trying to install Havoc os and the question I have is after I boot twrp from the crdroid recovery do I still flash the twrp zip as the guide for the rom on Xda says its not necessary to flash twrp zip as it is inclined in the room itself so do I still flash zip file? Please read my previous posts. Wait the recovery I used to upgrade to this rom was crdroid recovery:https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...covery-for-oneplus-6t-stable.3861482/page-217 it worked the sameI had updated to the latest OOS 11.1.2.2 and tried to flash several different TWRP versions including the ones from the OP. None of them worked for me on the 6T through the command "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" or "fastboot boot twrp.img" except the one on THIS page. Just thought I would share this info for anyone else still having trouble.
Glad crdroid's version worked for you, but not for me, unfortunately.Wait the recovery I used to upgrade to this rom was crdroid recovery:https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...covery-for-oneplus-6t-stable.3861482/page-217 it worked the same

Has anyone tried the latest official build, 3.3.1-0? It was generated on the 19th.

@mauronofrio, any plans for an unofficial build based on 3.3.1? The A/B partition flash in the changelog sounds like what your 3.3.0 build was already doing.
