Huge thanks to @Sahil_Sonar for building and helping out!
Please see instructions on megathread for how to flash. Do not flash without going through instructions!

Since I didn't post about it earlier, the latest backlight fixed A9 non-CFW TWRP image can be found here, or in the Telegram group as note "#twrp-non-cfw-for-roms".

Thank you for all your work!

I still had the problem with the black screen issue.

I use pin codes/encryption. Maybe it's related to that. Anyway, the solution was, as someone mentioned somewhere:
Code:
adb devices
adb shell
cat /sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/max_brightness > /sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness
Do not forget to change the brightness in the settings.

I'm completely lost.

I tried official TWRP, like on all my phones, and it cant boot into TWRP. Bootloop until i release Vol+.

Now this thread has 2 different recovery.

I am on MIUI V11.0.5.0.QGGMIXM, so Android 10.

I just want TWRP booting so I can flash my custom rom.

Can someone tell me what to do?

Read the mega thread and cfw guide. It has all you need.

F***ing my battery level every time

So every time i boot into TWRP, it shows a incorrect battery percentage (usually a decrease).
then when i boot back to the ROM it stays the same as the one in TWRP..
Did anyone face this bug? Did anyone find a solution?

Hello,

The link for downgrade to A9 is dead, someone can provide it please, if it is still a prerequisite to enjoy LineageOS.

Yours sincerely,

Edit :
Actually the link is good for https protocol.

Hi,

after reading through all the threads, regarding installation of a Custom Rom, I am now confused:
Shall I install this recovery or the official one from twrp dot me?
What is the difference? Can please some one elaborate?

Hi,
nice video but one step beyond already.
There is already a TWRP installed, and I am just about to do that. But I wanted to know which one? official or unofficial from the thread? And what is the difference? This is explained no where nor is there anywhere a disclaimer not to install official TWRP.
So please elaborate.
