[RECOVERY] ClockworkMod (use Rom Manager now)

I would like to report a typo in recovery, while initializing build.prop in recovery there's windowsmsg.xxxxxxxxxx it should be windowsmgr.xxxxxxxxxxx I don't know if it effects recovery in anyway...

oh, same type that I fix in CM some time ago. No this property does nor affect anything in recovery,

Hey all,i got problem
last week after i root my phone using gingerbreak
then i click rom manager which i download before,and click flash Clockwork MOD recovery
its say got error
i try reinstall and uninstall also same,so what should i do ??
manually flash custom recovery ??
if yes can show me example and step-by-step guide how to do it ??
*im android newbie and refer the image for more information T_T

i got a similar error too
i rebootd the phone and rerooted with z4root

and also it would require a internet connection

I used recovery mode 4.0.2.6 to install CMR, it report succesfully but when i reboot, I got stuck at LG logo and can't enter thundereg recovery again. Any solution for this. Many thank ;(

i don't thonk its working i tried it 2 times first in devoid(older one) second time in official 2.2.2 but when i tried to boot into recovery it was stuck in lg logo...

i don't think of using amonra recovery anymore i
rom manager flashed the recovery before it was fully downloaded...
Yes, ROM Manager is completely broken in this regard. It needs to download a signed ZIP and discard it and report an error when verification fails. Heck, ZIP format has even its own CRC check. What ROM Manager is doing (download whatever .IMG and flash it no matter what) is a nice WTF! Broken by design, go rewrite from scratch! :mad:

i rooted with z4root, installed rom manager and flashed recovery. I flashed a rom, when the phone opens it freezes. From a closed how do i enter recovery? I tried home+power and didnt work!
