Here is the CWM 5.5.0.4 for Lava Iris 504Q

Requirements:

1. Sp Flash Tool
2. Recovery.img
3. MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt (only use this one. it is modified.)

Instructions for flashing using SP Flash Tools:
1. Install drivers for your phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2107980&d=1373524210
2. Copy recovery.img and scatter file in new same folder
3. Extract and open the SP Flash Tools.
4. In SP Flash Tools, click on Scatter-Loading and the program will ask you the location of the scatter loading file for your device select mt6589 scatter file.txt
5.Check only recovery.img, uncheck all others. (will be checked auto)
6. Switch off your phone (Remove the battery to make sure it is switched off).
7. Click the Download option (present on the right of Firmware
> Upgrade option) and the flash tool will start looking for your phone.
8. Put Battery and Connect usb to your phone now. The Flash Tool will start the flashing process, the progress of which can be viewed from a yellow progress bar at the bottom of the flash tool.
Warning 1 - Don't interrupt this process as it can potentially brick your device.
Warning 2 - Make sure no power interruption takes place. (Use a laptop to ensure this).
9. After the process completes, a green ring will appear on your device signalling that the process was successful.
10.Disconnect your phone.

Thats all

Press volume Up and Power same time to get in to CWM

unable to instal drivers for my lava iris 504q. I could not find the drivers in MT65xxusb driver. Could you please upload it. I flashed the stock ROM but was unable to flash the custom ROM. Now when I swtich on the device it's just showing lava, it is not getting into recovery mode either. Plz help me...

I used to use a scatter file and flash the stock rom using sp tools in my previous phone, so just wanted to know will the same thing work with this scatter file??

No don't flash this recovery as cwm is device specific.. one cwm is available for 504q+ bt I think 504q+ got kitkat update so it'll not work on new version.. so wait for the one [emoji6]

My iris 504q+ got the OTA update for 4.4 but the problem is that only the Update.zip file has been downloaded and it doesn't get installed. Someone please help. My phone has been rooted using framaroot but i don't think that should create and problem right?

I rooted my iris 504q+ using framaroot and tried install cmw using mobileuncle. I think it never got installed however it did ask me once to reboot into recovery. Post that i haven't been able to boot into recovery. I think i have even lost my stock recovery image. Can i install stock update using cmw???

Flash stock rom via sp flash tools, you will be able to get update and if ur recovery is bricked that too will come back [emoji6]

Hello. @fandroid7
I have a request for port cwm for Lava A68 and A51 (spreadtrum chipsets SC7731). I have stock recovery.img for both.
I tried but TWRP - no buttons and touch works, in MIUI recovery - all works but no one command like install zip, backup, restart, ect.
Can You port for Lava users of this models?
