my fastboot toolbox is integrated into new FlashTool... it should be available from next release... it becomes a lot easier to flash kernels for those users who have NEVER used adbHow Can I flash this without having to do ADB, NEVER learned it always had issues with it so gave up in the past. Is there no OTHER method?
Is there any reason why you are SO averse to giving it another shot? Download latest flashtool, get ADB working and all thats left to do after that are a couple of commands. This was the first time I used ADB myself. And its really easy. At least these basic commands areHow Can I flash this without having to do ADB, NEVER learned it always had issues with it so gave up in the past. Is there no OTHER method?

this might not be fool proof but... try not to charge the phone while doing anything in Cwm... I faced the same problems but when it was on battery it worked without a glitchEverytime I flash rom or clear data it stuck at cwm or at sony logo for the 1st time, I have to reset (using small yellow button at the back) then enter recovery and flash again then it will work. I test this with KA07.
Anyone face this issue?
My device is C6502.

I'm having the same issue... :/ Any fix?Anyone have issues wiping cache within recovery? When I try, it just hangs there, and I have to reboot with the yellow button. It affects individual cache wipes, as well as factory resets. Just hangs at wiping cache.load screen. Dalvik cache, system, and data all wipe fine separately on there own. I tried downloading and flashing the customstock kernel, but I get the same result. Any Ideas?

yeah i have same issue , it should be not too long for just format the partition, maybe clear cache in CWM still not support on our phone, the second time you entering cwm it fail to identify the cache partition so it just finish, and booting on starting the system will repair the corrupt partition by storing the alternatif partition, you can see the logcat what system done itI'm having the same issue... :/ Any fix?
EDIT: According to thread in the XZ section... it just takes forever to wipe/format cache... Going to format and leave it sitting for ~5 minutes and see if it ever goes through.

It's been 6 minutes... and it's still "Formatting /cache..."

After 10 minutes, I reset with the yellow button and tried again, this time without the charger plugged in. Format completed after a few minutes.... Moral of the story... be VERY patient when wiping cache... lol
Edit: It may be worth mentioning that I seem to have more success with the Format /cache option under Mounts/Storage than I do with the Wipe Cache option from the main menu... IDK if there's any difference, but the wipe cache option tends to hang where as the Format /cache option doesn't do it nearly as often... ???
