In JB only the ROM manager app itself has access to the backups. They are kept in a location hidden to your computer or file managers. Also, you can only access them via WiFi share service built into ROM manager, but You have to buy the full paid version in order to be able to access them and save them anywhere other than that hidden folderI'm using CWM for nandriod backups. I can not see where the backups are located when looking for them when the phone is connected to my computer. Does anyone know where the backups are located? What folder?
So, if I understand what your saying is that this is exclusive to CWM and Rom manager? If I were to get the paid version of Rom manager would I them be able to see and move the backups from the device storage to my SD card?In JB only the ROM manager app itself has access to the backups. Ok, how about if I were to TWRP and not CWM? I know that TWRP is able to restore CWm backups, at least it was able to on the HTC One and Samsung S4. Being new to Sony I find that the ZL is much more complicated to root/install CWM or TWRP. Also, the development of roms is much slower than for example HTC and Samsung. I love the ZL but, this makes me think it may not have a lot of development. I hope that's not true maybe cause the phone is relatively new?Yap
