If you have 3.0.1.4, please revert to 2.5.1.8

Hi all,
I posted a link on twitter yesterday for the new 3.0.1.4 clockwork mod recovery. Thanks to fritolays, I had let a nasty bug slip into the recovery in the recovery.fstab. After fixing that, I was re-testing a fresh build. After testing every function, eveything seemed fine, but I found another bad bug. This time, it didn't show up in the recovery.log. So, until I can make sure that is 100%, I'd ask that you please revert the current 2.5.1.8 build in the first post. Thanks & I'm sorry if you're one of the 14 people who downloaded/used 3.0.1.4!

You can hold down volume down button & hit the power button to turn the phone off while in the recovery. When you power the phone on, it'll boot up like normal.

DID ALL THE ABOVE.

Get two icons: Green Android underneath a yellow exclamation mark in a white triangle.

What next?

The first time I did this, it worked as expected, wiping the phone. (photos taken).

Then reboot. And bricked?

You need to uncheck USB Debugging

you should be using eclair right? try touching the bottom right of your screen when you see the exclaimation mark
Does this bring up the standard Motorola recovery? I also only saw the screen with the exclamation Mark and now with your help I pressed the bottom right and get to a screen that says Android system recovery <2e>. I am guessing that this is not the Clockwork Recovery screen as I do not have the option to Backup or Restore there.

I have installed the Custom Recovery app and it said it installed OK. However when I choose the option Custom Recovery. my phone simply reboots back to normal. I don't get a Recovery screen. I have set USB Debugging to Off.

Is there anyway that I can check if the Recovery has actually installed OK?

Is it safe to press the Install Recovery option again or could this lead to problems?

EDIT: Never mind I held my breath and pressed "Install Recovery" again and now it works.
