Just as the title says this is an unofficial build of TWRP recovery v2.8.7.0 for the HTC ACE (Desire HD/Inspire 4g).

This has been tested on my Inspire 4G and a Desire HD by @Mustaavalkosta. It has been tested with both Sense roms and current KK AOSP roms. I have put it to the test and not found any issues so far. If you find any bugs please report with an attached recovery log.

Hi jrior001. I tried TWRP recovery on my phone today. adb sideload works but I could not 'adb shell'. I got an error that it could not find a device.
Any way to get that working?

You hit me at a good time, got it fixed up on the first try. Hit the download link again for the fresh build. I confirmed in linux adb is good, I don't have a windows environment setup to test with but it should be fine there as well.

that's a difficult task given the older 3.0 kernel but not impossible. I attempted this on my daily device(HTC Evita) but got sidetracked before i finished.

I picked F2FS import commit from some faux123 kernel in April. No clue if it works though as I never tested it.

Power Off the device...Put on Charge, Battery sign came up....After 3-5 seconds battery icon disappeared but complete Blank screen with BackLight On.

Though Recovery.img flashed correctly,When i hit reboot into recovery, it does goes into recovery and does its job. Just wondering after placing phone switched off either it should show Battery sign or reboot into Recovery automatically. But in this case its just blank screen without anything on display.

So is it normal behavior or abnormal?

something's not right with offmode charging. It charges fine but there no images showing battery levels. I may be able to grab what I need from a sense ROM to fix that up but its not anything to be concerned about.

So you mean it won't be redirect to Recovery mod automatically, Just like happens CWM 5.8.x.x and later.

nope no redirect back to recovery. Ideally you would see the charging symbols at this point but I didn't have them. I used an old TWRP tree as a building block and it and mustavaa's trees don't include them. I may be able to collect and add them but its not critical. Actually on my Evita (One XL) we still don't have this working.
