I've added an EVA L29 nocheck recovery here, based on b391: https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=28173 - if you could test it please I'll add it to the front page :)
Thank you very much for your work!
I can't test it by myself, cause I own L09, but I made zips with your Recovery for L19 and L09 (for people who are using my Rom to go back to Stock or upgrade first..)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74913874&postcount=3
I can upload one declared Testversion for L29 in my Post there.
Soon someone tested it and reported to me I will share.
But perhaps some other User would test it in the meantime directly from here

Every time I want to update to a newer version do I need to repeat the steps?
Or I can directly install new updates from finder without confirmation?

If you use not authorized update you must do it every thing that same as op write.
If you ask why???
It's because when you flash new firmware it's change no check recovery to stock recovery and you can't use this method any more

Overview
This is a patched recovery image which bypasses the usual checks performed during a firmware flash, allowing you to flash unapproved OTA firmwares. For example, the latest FullOTA-MF b394:

You can also downgrade without using the b300 rollback package (untested)

Prerequisites
Unlocked bootloader
Rooted
Backup your data (flashing may cause bootloader to re-lock or restore factory default etc. - don't blame me if it goes wrong!)

Instructions
Download firmware:
Use Huawei Firmware Finder (Play Store link) to download the latest firmware files - you will need all 3 zip files:
- update.zip
- update_data_full_public.zip
- update_full_EVA-L09_hw_eu.zip

Tips: check for the latest number (102064 for b394) and ensure you have the larger filesize (around 2GB). For example, these are the latest at time of writing b394:

Flash nocheck recovery:
Download from here - EVA L09: eva_l09b391_nocheckrecovery.img, EVA L19: eva_l19b391_nocheckrecovery.img, EVA L29: eva_l29b391_nocheckrecovery.img
Reboot device to fastboot mode (power off fully, hold down volume button and connect USB cable)
Run the following to flash recovery:

Send commands via ADB
Phone should be booted back to system - connect phone via adb and allow root prompt:

Create HWOTA folder:
mkdir /data/update/HWOTA
Copy firmware to HWOTA folder (replace 102064 below with correct value - this is for b394):

Copy firmware to HWOTA folder (replace 102064 below with correct value - this is for b394):
cp /sdcard/HWFF/102064/update* /data/update/HWOTA/
Paste recovery command:

Finally reboot to recovery to start firmware upgrade:

Firmware should install and reboot automatically :)

Extras
You can probably Re-Brand to alternative customers too i.e. c636 (Asian region) to c432 (European region). Follow the tutorial here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8-pro/how-to/oeminfo-c432-t3625886 - you'll need the correct OEMINFO files, this is untested.

Hi! I have a dude
I want flash the L19C432B360... this image file will work out?? Is the same process?
Which Firmware is the current one you have installed?
Upgrade is working in any case (for you with L19 Recovery from OP and exactly the steps)
Downgrade I haven't tested yet.
