I just tried to flash the TWRP 2.5.0.0 file from CWM on Gingerbread and it failed. Should I use Goo Manager instead?
The recovery zips posted in this thread are for the Sprint GS3. If you are running an Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" based ROM then I'd venture a guess that you have a different phone. If you do not have a Sprint GS3 then attempting to flash these recoveries will fail.

Apologies if I have misunderstood something.

every time I try to install the most recent CWMT and TWP I get 'status 7' errors that abort the installation. I only receive these errors when trying to flash these recovery zips. How can I resolve this?

Has anyone had issues with CWM recovery alongside a ROM (I'm using slimbean) ? I'm using cwm 6.0.3.1 and have had this happen twice where when I go into recovery I essentially can't boot back into my ROM. The first time I was trying to fix permissions in recovery and after a minute or so it reboot in its own and kept getting stuck at the ktoonz kernel boot screen and wouldn't go past. I had to use the one click restore to get my phone working again. The second time I went into recovery to make a backup so that I could flash build 7 and part way through the backup it rebooted and got stuck again at the ktoon boot screen. Had to use the one click restore again to get my phone working.

I am guessing its an issue with the recovery but I don't know how or what to do to fix it or really figure out the issue. I'm currently on build 7 and would like to make a backup but scared to go back into recovery for fear of having to go through that whole process again. Any help would be appreciated.

For those who are interested I have finished compiling all TWRP recoveries and the latest CWM and CWM Touch into a One-Click format.

I also have download links to all the TWRP builds in both TAR and IMG formats (working on ZIP). You can also find most CWM and CWM Touch in ZIP or TAR.

Everything is available at: www.rwilco12.com

Enjoy!

Here is the TOUCH RECOVERY 6.0.2.3 which you can Flash via Odin to the I9300 device.

With this recovery it is now possible to make backups even without a external SD-CARD. That's cute!!

Testet with I9300 and the leaked 4.2.2 ROM
(I9300XXUFME7_I9300OXAFME7_I9300XXUFME7_HOME.tar.md5)

How to do:

1. Download the file
2. Unzip the file
3. Open ODIN and select only this Options:
- Auto Reboot
- F. Reset Time
4. Choose PDA and select the recovery.tar.md5 file
5. Recovery will automaticaly start after the 1st Flash

Enjoy it!
