Oh OK. Thanks dude.
Also, if the official zip or tar of v2.7.0.0 doesn't work for you (they didn't for me but did for some others), the multi-boot version (there's a thread here somewhere about booting multiple versions of Android) worked for me and a few other people, although again not for still others.

The same was the case for me with v2.6.3.1.

I don't know if anyone has tested TWRP with the TouchWiz 4.4.2 update, FYI, if you decide to upgrade.

Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII with Wicked X v6.5, Ktoonsez' latest kernel and the latest Philz Touch Recovery.

Cool. Will my backup still be there even though I update to 2.7?

Glad these are here. I heard so many good things about philz recovery but it didn't work with cm updater.

Philz doesn't work with any automatic updaters, as far as I know. You have to know where your update zip is saved and manually flash it. No big deal to me. I actually prefer it that way. In my opinion, Philz is the best, under the hood.

Once your update download is finished, you can boot into recovery and flash the zip file found in the folder /sdcard/cmupdater and flash it in PhilZ.

PhilZ is the best in my humble opinion, as well.

Is it safe to use and install xposed on sprint galaxy s3 sch-s960l?? If is where could i fine modules for my phone? Cant find any!
I don't believe Xposed is device specific. JUST BE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ROM BEFORE INSTALLING. That way if anything should go wrong, you can restore your last working setup.

A SCH-S960L user reported Xposed modules working on his device here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357703&page=2

I found thay info in under 5 minutes. Remember, search is your best bet for questions that have probably already been asked before.

The Xposed Installer can be downloaded here:

http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer

Also, remember that your device is not a Sprint S3 (different model #), so what works on our phones, may not work on yours.

Does this mean i shouldn't be looking under sprint even if it uses sprint towers? I can get 4g and everything with it

No, you need a custom recovery to make backups. Samsung's stock recovery will not allow this. Also, in order for Xposed to work, your phone needs to be rooted. I suspect you have not done this either, then?

The reason this forum is for the Sprint S3 specifically is, because it is referencing the SPH-L710, the model # for the Sprint S3. You need to make sure you are getting recoveries and ROMs that support your device. D2LTE ROMs should support your device fine. However, the wrong recovery could hard brick your phone, as it will be writing to the wrong partition in your phone's memory.

Also, I don't want to clutter up this development thread any longer with Q&A. This is for development. In the future, pose your questions in the Sprint S3 General/Q&A forum, and Sprint S3 users will do their best to help you.
