I had the same issue. Had to use flashify to get it installed.Any one having trouble using fastboot to flash this? I tried all 4 img's from twrp's site http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/flounder
When I try rebooting into recovery using adb reboot recovery I just get a message stating "No command" and the dead android.
I have the 32gb wifi only N9.
Sorry if this was discussed earlier, I didn't have time to weed through the entire thread.

Thanks that worked, not used to having to do these kind of shanagans with nexiI had the same issue. Had to use flashify to get it installed.
Used Wug's root toolkit to get rooted first.
I read that CM is working on supporting 64 bit processors and until they do, N9 will likely get no love. DU will most likely support N9 officially, which is all I care aboutThanks that worked, not used to having to do these kind of shanagans with nexiused it to flash recovery too and it worked beautifully.
In other news, looks like CM isn't supporting this device? strange.
Working fine for me...Download site is down ?
Yes, sometimes.. Use flashify appDownload site is down ?
fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.imgIs there some alternative way to flash this beyond going into adb and doing adb flash recovery recovery.img? I have done this a few times and the recovery flash isn't sticking. Any idea why?
Forced encryption comes from the stock boot image. It is not a recovery issue at all. In fact, the code required to encrypt the device isn't even present in recovery. The encryption occurs during first boot if you are using a boot image with the force encryption flag set.Does the infamous force encrypt issue still haunt the recovery? (TWRP used to encrypt my previously decrypted tablet on wipe, up to 2.8.3.0)
Sounds like an isolated issue. I'd recommend reading up on how to flash your own recovery images without relying on a toolkit, imo.I'm having an issue flashing Roms in recovery. I tried with both the test build and official builds of Dirty Unicorns and also LiquidSmooth and I get a failed message each time. I'm not new to flashing, just new to Nexus. I've flashed my HTC One M7 numerous times. Am I missing something? I used wugfresh's tool kit to unlock, root and install the custom recovery. I can back up and restore my stock Rom but I can't do anything else.
I can't remember the failed messages as I'm at work and on my phone but will post later if needed.
Thanks
