@Dees_Troy why do you have ro.product.device=volantis instead of ro.product.device=flounder? Even looking at the stock ROM ro.product.device=flounder so even stock OTAs will fail the assert check.

Just use Fastboot. 3 Commands and you are done, and 2 of them are to reboot the device, it's not that hard and most of all safer since most apps seem to be not optimized for 5.0

The TWRP app nor Flashify work for installing TWRP on the Nexus 9. Use Fastboot. It is the safest way anyhow.

Flashify ended up working...does it not install properly or something? seems ok so far

@mk92595 : remove all screen lock settings ( set it to none or Swipe screen ) reboot into recovery and voilà : no more password.

Do you have a pin lock screen? Use that as your password. If you have a pattern lock screen I think you're sol.

You can still decrypt patterns though by translating the pattern dots to numbers.
The pattern dots correspond to numbers in the following pattern:

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

So an upper-case L would translate to a password of 14789 entered on the keyboard.
Eventually we plan to add a proper pattern unlock to TWRP but it is a relatively low priority at this point.

Its unlikely you can flash twrp through stock recovery as it has SIG checks
Besides fastboot is always the safest method to flash firmware including recoveries

I tried to flash TWRP but since then I can't boot anymore, i can't do a factory reset anymore. It don't matter what i do i alweys end up at the TWRP logo.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

Anyone? I tried to flash a factory image but in the end i got the message that there was no boot.img???
After a reboot i only see the words Google and after that it's again stuck at the flashing teamwin logo????
