I am running CWM 6.0.2.7. Cannot seem to get to 6.0.4.9. Have tried flashing with ODIN, flashing from withing 6.0.2.7 and does not take.
It either kills recovery(6.0.2.7 comes back on reboot)
At this point I am stuck on JellyBean.

Uncheck autoreboot in Odin, after Odin finished flashing, wait 30 seconds, now DIRECTLY boot into recovery using the Hardware key combination.

OK will try. But at this point I am desperate. I want to get back to Stock and all the stock roms I flash won't overwrite CWM and therefore won't boot either.

What do I do if I flash a stock and CWM stays there. Why won't it get overwritten?

Update.
Can flash anything with Odin.
But no recovery and stuck with boot loop.

Cannot write new pit file. Bricked?

Update 2: I can only get to dl mode. Flashes (not PIT) run fine. No errors in ODIN. with or without autoreboot same problem. Infinite bootloop on Samsung GT-I8190 screen. No N on the screen and never was.

Phone bought on TaoBao (Chinese Ebay) Maybe a made for China only version. Sticker said i8190N. Phone said i8190. and baseband was i8190XX. . . when I first got it. Internal memory was only 4GB and not 8. Phone box was french and phone sticker (under battery) was in Chinese.
I think it is not a fake but a Chinese version made after the regular product runs. Fine if you stick with the original 4.1.2 That it comes with.
I will send it back and try again.

Downloading Chinese Stock firmware now to see if that takes. FAIL!!!
Still hoping to get a real/better one from TaoBao and try again. Will be a week.

ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) 6.0.5.0

Ready for download in some minutes :)

Notable changes since 6.0.4.9:
* Segfault fixes for command line nandroid backup/restore
* Optimizations to progress thread so it doesn't get overloaded with
screen updates (this significantly improves backup/restore speed)
* Fixes for command line nandroid backups of vold volumes
* Correctly update background image for errors and finished processes
* Allow selective restore of more than one partition at a time
* New MD5 calculator only verifies checksums of partition(s) selected
for restore and warns you when files or checksums are not found
* New touch code supports a wider variety of devices for swipe control
and virtual (capacative touch) keys are now supported
* Only show Mount USB storage option if possible

All is working well now. It appears all of my posts were due to a very good fake that I bought. The new one came and it flashed the first time and all is working well.

    Testing it, works good.
BUT there is no choice to get back ( - Go Back is missing )

No need for it ;) :) Use the soft-key ;) right side from your home-button. :)
