No it won't stick, but it flashes to the phone but when the phone restarts it reinstalls the factory recovery.
I'm going to turn to tungkick about it and see if he has ideas.

Try immediately booting to TWRP. Then from there, flash the "disable-dm-verity" zip provided in the first post on this thread
I agree you should go straight to twrp, don't allow it time to reinstall the original.

If you believe the tot itself versus getting it sticking is ready, is there any chance you'd be able to upload the tot so others can try to successfully flash it as well? I myself am a bit excited about this so I would like to help any way I can, and don't mind using my phone as a guinea pig
Did you try flashing su before rebooting maybe the way the tot was put together.. I think they originally had the same issue at first with the v10.. Then worked it out rather quickly..
The problem with that is how will he flash it if he doesn't get twrp in first? Or maybe he is able to add the command as part of the tot?

Tungkirk is working on it TWRP loaded, and super SU flashed I think he is building a full tot of our rom with TWRP installed.Awesome! Thanks so much for your work! System wouldn't reload after TWRP stuck.

That's the way you get it done son.. Great work.. And many thanks for his support and your persistence.. I would have needed an upgrade by time I physically broke any sort of encryption.. I dig the way android can simply be rebuilt signed over on new partions makes life so much simpler..

If you're able to oem unlock via fastboot I honestly don't see why the same thing cannot be done
