Still having problems install LGup_Lab_Frame_Ver_1_11... It keeps saying ShellExexuteEx failed.. I'm running Windows 8.1 and tried Windows fix it running different compatibles just no luck installing.
Finally figured it out.. Had a version already installed from rooting an LG V10 was causing all my problems.. Rooted now and Thanks guys for all involved..

If it's anything like the nexus line as soon as you relock the bootloader it should go away.
Yes whenever I first unlocked I tried the other commands including re-locking the phone (since my phone was already wiped with the unlocking) and I can confirm the yellow triangle does indeed go away. I suppose the next step is to make it go away while still having the bootloader unlocked.

That could be difficult i know the nexus had that message built into the bootloader and this nobody wants to mess with it because that's a really easy way to brick a phone over something as simple as a non vital message.

I take it no one else has experienced this?

"In TWRP is anyone else unable to unlock using the slider when the phone times out?"

I believe it might be a logo.bin file. But we don't have fastboot flash commands to change it.

I'm hesitant to relock the bootloader to make it go away, because then I will have to unlock it again to flash and it will wipe everything again, correct?

I tried locking my bootloader as I have to get the phone exchanged for GPS and graphical issues, what ended up happening is it would bootloop at the LG logo with an error saying it couldn't verify something.
Ended up having to unlock the bootloader, reflash stock TOT, then lock the bootloader again and now everything works, but a word of warning that if you flashed the TWRP modified TOT then don't lock your bootloader, it'll bootloop you at the LG logo.

Yes, it happened to me both times I've performed a backup. I tried swiping very slow, but it was unresponsive.

A few other things that were out of the ordinary from my twrp experiences before.

1. The backup took very long. 30 minutes or more.
2. The phone got extremely hot. 50° C.

THANK YOU. because it seem'd as if everyone else had no clue. Yes, after or during a backup if the phone times out you will be unable to swipe it to unlock recovery. Maybe we can ask @jcadduono to look into it. :)

I remember this happening on earlier versions of TWRP with the G4 too. Freaked me out because it was in the process of backingup/restoring, and wasn't quite sure what to do. I found that after TWRP had completed doing what it needed to though, the swipe unlock worked again.

But certainly a bug that needs squashing.
