Don't see why not. I'm under the impression that all TW roms work with SS.

---------- Post added at 08:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:33 PM ----------

No go on the ROM slots. Keeps booting into system recovery. Plenty of "can't mount" messages.
Did you see the "unable" to mount msgs when creating the slot or before or after flashing the rom in the rom slot?

Also, can you delete the slot and perform the process again but this time after flashing the rom in the slot, but before rebooting, go to advanced settings then save log to sd card and send to me?

Last, I will need a couple of experienced users to test an updated version. PM me interested.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention @muniz_ri. Just installed and works great.
So maybe you guys can help:

I installed the DN3 Rom using the safestrap method. Once the installed was done the phone booted to the samsung logo and directly to the Rom, no safestrap. The installation also broke root which after playing with it for a while I was able to recover root through the Towelroot Port method. Once I recovered root I downloaded and installed the safestrap apk once again and ran it. I say "installation complete" but nothing happens, like the reboot button is grayed out and cannot be clicked and when I reboot it goes straight to the ROM. All and all the rom works fantastic but I cannot get wifi to work. Can someone offer any advice, I did a full system backup before the install fyi..... thanks in advance for any guidance in this matter guy

Absolutely love this forum and all the folks who have been working to bring new life to the note 2. Went back to stock, upgraded to 4.4.2, re-flashed with ghettoroot fixed script then updated the SuperSU binaries and got safestrap to work, did my backup and flashed the 4.4.2 build 30 of Alliance.

So happy to have SS back working on the new nd7 update.. Now is the new update suppose to have the new setting style, like the s4,s5,note 4? Or like the screenshot? I had to do a reset and towelroot twice due to other play store issues but then I did and before applying the root again and reset I changed to the newer style setting menu?

This is what mine looks like

If you go on the thread for ghettoroot I believe it's page 35 (sorry can't post a link at as I'm at work) someone modified the script, the modified version was successful where the regular one failed. After you're rooted open supersu (it may even prompt you) to update the binaries (again, the app supersu would be prompting you to do this) just select the normal option and not twrp then reboot. Download SS and install. You should be set to install a TW 4.4.2 based ROM
