From what I've read the new slot size is what's causing problems on KK. Or did I misread that post 2 pages ago saying rom-slots work but only if the data size is smaller.

I would need confirmation.

I tried 1500 1500 and the 400 the slot created but ROM failed to flash so nogo

But you are saying u make through a ROM flash...I don't even make it thru...it fails each time. So u r getting lucky:) I love the slot option can't wait for it to work. Makes theming and testing 10xs faster lol

Can't enter safestrap recovery on 3.72

I am on a JellyBean build, wanting to upgrade to KK, then to another KK rom. When I reboot phone manually, I don't get any option to enter safestrap recovery. Just two vibrations and it boots into the rom. I'm sure I missed something, but do any of you kind folks happen to know what this is? I have also installed BusyBox, fyi. Thank you all for your time and support!!!

You have to be already on KK built with root to use 3.72

I launch the safestrap app and then select reboot recovery. Then close the app and restart phone normally and it'll (should) bring the Safestrap launch screen to select recovery OR it will boot into ss recovery by itself. I have to do it this way but it works every time so launch the safestrap app first and do what I do and it'll probably work fine. :)

EDIT....you have to be on KK first. You're trying from jelleybean.

Hash I can confirm I was able to create slot 1 by changing the default sizes to: 1500, 1500, 400 respectfully.

@faslane- I see you found @bri315317's DynamicKat! I know you will like this Rom, and bri is working a new Google Play Edition. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to flash V1.0 first.

Thank you @Rawhide. I'm still playing with the rom slots so I haven't flashed it yet. I'm still on Knox and 100% functional so I'm trying to get it working on slot 1 but haven't had any luck flashing 1.0 yet. I get a failed to mount error or unmount. One of the two...I just tried a quick flash so I haven't looked into it further just yet. :)

You'll be glad when you do. It was hard giving up KR as we all invested so much time and $$$$$$ (the amount of times I donated) :-[........moving on, I am actually glad to be rid of it, yes It was running smooth as silk but had to move on.

Could be worse, I went from KR to JB, then had to go back to KR to get Kk so I can get to flash a different Kk, thought I was SOL, but had to do it ASAP, darn BL. Now I'm GTG. Lol

Good to hear. I know you also got the shaft pretty hard. Oh well, it's how we deal with adversity that makes us who we are. +1

Does anyone know why SS 3.71 stopped wiping properly? We all know that wiping the stock slot automatically wipes all the other slots? And wiping it clean also wipes internal SD. That doesn't happen anymore on my end. It started doing that ever since I've restored to mj5 a while back after I messed up my phone by rebooting with an empty stock slot. Any ideas? Thank you everyone.

Received my Note 3 in the mail today. Got it from Amazon, came with MJ5, Kingo app was a little slow on the driver update, but I manually updated the driver then rooted and then installed Safestrap 3.71 and worked like a champ. No issues with wipe or flash. Now running Kitkat!

I know you are having this problem since you used the MJ5 restore. May be try the restore again? Probably restore didn't wipe all the SS related files which I highly doubt. I hope Hash can chime in to help you out Klaz

I don't know man. It was a pain in the a$$ with my old PC. I think that's why I'm having some battery issues. Some old files that are not being deleted. Just a guess. Not sure. Hash bro. help please. Thank you.
