Only use this, for now at least. I have no idea how to compile kernels and once I do I will make a flashable version. Seems silly to have to odin every time. Updated my thread to link here as to use a newer CWM.

Does this resolve the issues with themed nandroid backups causing bootloops from the old red CWM?
You could say that....... it is generally more supported.

I Odin'd this using PDA and when I tried to boot straight into recovery (to flash ROM then Kernel), I was taken to stock (blue) recovery. No voodoo conversion, nothing. Just blue recovery.
Any ideas?

does this mean in the near future everything will go thru odin or will there still be things you can flash??
So just to be sure I am understanding everything correctly, this is the newest CWM? Newer than jt's 3/30 CWM and GizmoDroid's 4/1 (updated 4/8) CWM?

I ODINed the this red CWM, booted, did its conversion. Now I'm trying to boot into recovery and stays stuck on the Samsung logo.

What I did was ODIN the red CWM 2.5.x and then flash the new red CWM 3.x via the zip in this thread.
Isn't this version supposed to be flashed with Odin? Now I'm afraid to flash it.
I wouldn't flash it. There is something up here...
I can't find the Odin files for cwm 2.5.x because GizmoDroid's post has been edited to say they are coming soon.
Edit: When this is flashing Odin doesn't say it is flashing recovery, all it says is zImage.
Edit2: Flashed cwm 2.5.1.x from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=942021 which actually flashes cwm. I'm sure you can then flash the zip from this thread.
