I have A520F, gsi not workingWhich device do you have?
It has only been tested on A520F and A720F, other variations may have different partition sizes.
And what do you mean by "not working"?

Hold down Power and Volume Down button for about 5-7 secs until the phone restarts and directly press Power, Vol down and Home Button again to boot into download mode and flash the correct TWRP version.I'm on LineageOS on Samsung A5 2017. I wrongfully flashed the latest TWRP for A7 2017 instead of A5. Now it is stuck on TWRP recovery, what should I do?
can't flash lineageos 16 using twrp v3.4.0 (last current version of twrp)!
it says -->> Error 7 twrp and failed to update system image
but can be install Korea's rom for A7 2017
If you haven't set a passcode, there's nothing to ask from twrp.It is maybe dumb question... But what is point of encrypting system (in my case LineageOS) if anyone can access to files through TWRP? There is no password, nothing. Just boot to recovery and all my files are easy accessible.
Thanks! The TWRP install guide listed on the first page of this thread worked perfectly for me with a Galaxy A5 (2017) on the latest official update level of a German Telekom branded stock ROM.
Just reporting this because after reading so many howtos, it was never clear which one would actually still by working as of today.
Kind regards
Florian
since the file name says twrp-3.5.0_9-0-a5y17lte.img (9 for android 9) and I'm on h 17.1 (android 10) should I flash it or wait for android 10 version/QUOTE]
You can flash it
Thanks for reporting, will check it out soon.@corsicanu, my Galaxy A7 (2017) bootloops after updating to TWRP 3.6.0. Only reverting back to TWRP 3.5.2 eliminate the bootloop.
