Can anyone please explain to me how to set the TWRP time to system time properly???
I'm from India and we follow IST (GMT +5:30)... but unfortunately in TWRP the time zones seem to be in GMT +1,+2,... but there's no options for +30 time zones!!! Am I missing something here?

Also how to turn off the vibrations in TWRP??? I go into TWRP settings and change all the vibration bars to 0 and vibration disappears....
But the next time I boot into recovery, the vibrations reappear and the vibration settings reset.... The settings don't seem to stick at all!!! How to make this settings stick???

Well, before someone comes and tells me this is a development thread, I wanna say that this concerns recovery for our device and before posting this, I've spent the last 2 hours browsing through various threads and googling but unfortunately there seems to be no solutions...

Will be grateful if someone could post a solution or would provide relevant link with solutions...

And thanks again to the OP for his awesome work... :good:

BTW, FYI I'm using XT1022...

Time thing I know about, but it's not exactly high priority so I didn't look into it.

Thanks for reporting about settings not being saved

This is a development thread, please don't spam this thread with non-development questions!!!

Still answering your question, the OP of this thread @cybojenix is a member on SlimROM team...
He's working on SlimKAT for XT1021 coz that's the variant he got... Dual Sim support won't be there...

Hoping you're a newbie, please don't spam development threads next time... :good:

the difference is that img is for fastboot, zip files can be flashed in recovery, only that
Hi,

Almost true, but...(there is "always" a "but... ;) )

If your phone is rooted, go to playstore, install Rashr and you will be able to flash .img files directly from an .apk ;)

I've never had to do a "factory reset" with a stock ROM and custom recovery, so I don't know, but when I do it and then I want to go to TWRP, only the Android mascot with a red sign shows up. Is that normal?

Also, is there any way TWRP can make a Nandroid Backup on the External SD Card?

Yes. On the backup screen, you can touch internal sdcard text, and a popup will come up which will let you choose external sd card as your backup location. :good:
