[RECOVERY][OFFICIAL] OrangeFox for tucana [R11.1]

Search This thread
I was on TWRP 3.4.0.1 (Mauronofrio) and switched to the FOX today. I'm surprised how different UI and functions can be. :) I'll use it just from now with my Dipper and Tucana EEA.

Thanks alot for that properly and fine working recovery, you did an excellent job! :good:

i know that recovery is for tucana, but i have toco and i asking myself if will work coz everithing have same (exceptions for cameras) ...so, i can try? :D :))

Nope, it will definitely not work. Even if the hardware of both devices is very similar, the partition stuff is way different..

i think it will be easy to port for mi note 10 lite
am i wrong?
what i need to know to port by myself?:D

It's not that easy. The hardware of Mi Note 10 and Note 10 Lite is nearly identical but the partition stuff on toco is way different. Mi Note 10 doesn't have dynamic partitions, you would brake your device probably :p

Noticed that this recovery has the ability to Disable DM-Verity and Disable Forced Encryption, should these options be enabled

Old post but i think he means internal storage beinn encrypted right after installing rom, you know when we open the recovery we have to first decrypt internal storage with the lock we put in the rom.

Yeah, of course. Stock ROM is encrypted out of the box and orangefox should decrypt it with the right password.
