Bootloop in recovery only.

I flashed the Recovery image in the redmi 3s prime and booted into it no problem. Then i flashed the AOSP Extended ROM and then the lazy flasher.
It booted up fine but when i try to boot into recovery by holding power and volume up button i get into a bootloop. My device boots up to system just fine and i can boot into twrp from the adb command but i can't seem to boot into the installed recovery.
I've already tried going back to the stock recovery and going through the same process again but it doesn't work.
I've also tried the Red wolf recovery based on twrp but that doesn't work either.

Is there anything else i can try?

Use recovery fix.zip or check in ROM thread for problem its a ROM problem not recovery problem.

Hold power + volume up + volume down. Not just power and volume up. Press all three button.

Thanks! Worked like a charm.
Also can you tell me what is supposed to happen on the Volume Up and Power button combination and why i get stuck in a bootloop with that?
Volume up and power button combination only work when you are in MIUI Rom. There is an interface that you can choose either to enter recovery mode, fastboot mode, or download mode (EDL). But if you use custom that interface is gone. No longer accessable.

This happened to me a while back, same exact error. It was related to the time and date. TWRP pulls this from the Android system somehow. Did you just update TWRP? Can you boot after the partial restore? Is the time and date correct in TWRP?

Yes recently updated TWRP. Device is booted.
What you did to solve this error? Only setting time and date correct solves or anything else?

Is it the official TWRP that you're running? After booting to system try and boot back into TWRP and see if the time and date are correct, if it is try your restore again. Once I noticed this was the problem, a couple reboots into TWRP fixed it.
