I think he will ask for TWRP log.

The issue rises as ASA i flash twrp via fastboot. TWRP works fine, its just the phone keeps vibrating. No errors while flashing the recovery, nor while flashing the rom via recovery. But still on booting the rom and while using it it keeps vibrating.

I cant boot into twrp, after vol up + power button, it stuck on mi logo, I'm on aospextended rom nougat, Everytime I need to boot to twrp i need to enter "fastboot boot twrp.img"

I've tried reflash it "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" and then install twrp app with no luck.
I've also tried boot into recovery via power menu "reboot-recovery" and it strange cause I boot into mi recovery instead.

edit: solved by flash twrp via twrp app, dont know what triggers the issue

boot into twrp using fastboot. - `fastboot boot .\twrp-3.1.0-0-20170318-UNOFFICIAL-rolex.img`
Download the international stock rom from here - https://xiaomifirmware.com/download/2449/
flash it and upgrade. Will solve our issue.

make sure your data partition aint encrypted. In that case you will have to boot into twrp, click cancel when it asks for password/pattern
and wipe the data partition. and then flash the stock rom

I don't know why does volume+ & power button not work but there is another method to go to recovery is
Settings/About phone/Check for update/there in the right top corner choose the "..." menu and in another windows chose> Reboot to recovery mode/Reboot now.

Why does Twrp 3.1.1.0 fail to restore backups done by the previous version of TWRP?
E.g- I've made a TWRP backup using this 3.1.1.0 then I upgraded to the latest 3.1.1.1. so will the newer version able to restore the older backup/s from 3.1.1.0?

Hi all !

I have a problem trying to install TWRP on my Redmi 4A. I have the bootloader unlocked and I've installed MIUI 9. (MIUI 9 Global 7.11.16)

To install TWRP, I use the fastboot method. No problem for the installation.

But once installed my redmi 4A no longer boot, I stay on the logo "Mi" with the word "Unlocked" at the bottom of the screen and nothing happens. I wait 30 minutes and no results.

I need reflash MIUI8 with MiFlashTool for repair my device.

Could you help me please? I want Root in my device.

Hi, I installed TWRP on a new redmi 4A with fastboot, but it did not start. When I tried to boot in the recovery, only pale vertical blue lines appeared on the screen, and after a few seconds it changed to vertical red lines. I tried with all the 3 available TWRP versions (3.2.0-0, 3.1.1-1, 3.1.1-0), the result was the same. After that I installed the cofface TWRP (3.0.2.-0), that worked normally. The device is not rooted.
What can be the problem? Maybe there are different hardware releases?
I can give more info about my phone to the developer if needed (version numbers, etc.).
(pls. note I'm an electrical engineer so know a little about firmwares, but android is totally new to me)
