Thanks a lot!its going crazy because the 409 update wants to flash the boot img included to the boot partition perhaps?
the updater-script has
in it..Code:package_extract_file("boot.img", "/dev/block/platform/sdhci-tegra.3/by-name/LNX");
so if we remove that line from the updater-script (since the kernel has remained unchanged since day 1) and delete the boot img from the zip file, i think it should work?
or maybe if we change that last line of LNX to SOS in the updater-script it will flash accordingly?

anyway, curiosity led me to see if this was reversible and it is..
adb shell into your ouya then su and type
let it finish the overwrite for the boot partitionCode:dd if=/data/media/OriginalBoot.img of=/dev/block/platform/sdhci-tegra.3/by-name/LNX
then type
and let it finish the overwrite of the recovery partition..Code:dd if=/data/media/OriginalRecovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/sdhci-tegra.3/by-name/SOS
then back out of shell and adb reboot recovery (which got me back to cmw)
once this safe recovery becomes the standard for the chefs then i will defnitely be all over it but until then, gonna wait it out...
i appreciate the work though!![]()
I'd like to know this, too. I have both this and CWM downloaded, but I don't know which one to install. It looks like they do the same things; Is one safer than the other?Does this replace the other CWM or does it go up in front of it? I guess I'm just not sure what version of CWM I need to install then.
Exactly what I as thinking. Guess I'll wait until someone can answer.I'd like to know this, too. I have both this and CWM downloaded, but I don't know which one to install. It looks like they do the same things; Is one safer than the other?
I'm wondering this as well. I'm thinking of going back to stock. Can anyone offer any advice on the simplest method to go back the standard partition scheme?We have any way to just uninstall this recovery, getting back to stock easily?
Thanks.
