I have version 12.0.7 but I can't get it to install the recovery twrp try with everyone and nothing I have open bootloader I have active debugging but it has been impossible I do it through adb fatboot install but twrp never appears when fastboot reboot does not enter or anything

I suggest you to try all versions, if you can.
Flashing recovery does not brick your device, you can flash another easily and safely.
I suggest you to flash recovery using fastboot.
Certainly, more than one will works to you.

Friend, thanks for your suggestion but unfortunately I tried the 5 options the process I do it by putting the mobile in fatboot mode and I execute it via cmd adb I execute the following fastboot devices then the rest I put the img in the folder of the minimal adb but nothing the only one that me it worked in my house was this

I' ve downloaded the patched boot and the patched vbmeta V12.2.0.RJOMIXM which corresponds to circumvent the overwriting of a custom recovery by the original one.

fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash boot boot_vd171.img

but then if I don't find a suitable custom recovery I'll have to continue using the stock rom and I don't really want to do that.

If someone can help me please

Note 9 user here. I have tried every img above but each one has it's own problem.
Twrp for my miui version and OrangeFox won't boot(accessible to adb but black screen when booted) and Pbrp can successfully boot for the first time but after rebooting device into system then booting recover pbrp vanishes and stock recovery opens.
I tried installing pixel experience after flashing pbrp then booting recovery, it caused softbrick.(I don't know if I did something wrong installing PE, I don't want to brick phone neither as it recently came from repair.

This thread is not about custom roms.

Flashing recovery does NOT brick your device.
If you get any problem, just flash another recovery.

kindly help with this,whenever i boot back to system,and wanna go back to recovery it will load stock recovery and not TWRP.

My problem is same to that but when I flash boot.img, I cannot access to system:
fastboot: usage: unknown reboot target system
It directly goes to the fastboot.
I flashed vbmeta with verify off btw.

Flash stock MIUI again.
And then, flash patched vbmeta.img, patched boot.img and recovery project image you want.

The thread is not about custom roms.
Just follow the instructions of the custom rom.

It's impossible to test every recovery project in every MIUI version.
