P9 Plus : I cannot boot to TWRP . I tried many times, even if it says that both the stock recovery and TWRP are installed (SRK Tool) I cannot shut it down completely from fastboot mode and it keeps going back to stock recovery.
If your using the adb commands then no it won't shutdown or work. need to enter "fastboot recovery" and will reboot the device into TWRP

Edit:
After unlocking it I was not able to install a custom recovery, because the phone would reboot in "Fastboot & Rescue Mode" and my computers (windows and linux) would not see it anymore, so unable to download anything. I tried to flash a stock firmware again trough vol+ vol- power , but now the phone is locked again and the fastboot and rescue mode does not allow me to flash anything simply because the computers don't see it, even if the phone boots up and works fine (and the computers see it).
Any suggestions ? Thanks

Looks like a driver issue..check the fastboot oem get-bootinfo to see your device is getting detected or not. you may install the hi suite to get the drivers installed.

I have hi suite and the drivers installed and the computer(s) sees the phone fine when I connect it. But when I reboot in download mode, the phone goes to the fastboot & rescue mode and the computers (windows and linux ) do not detect it anymore; I also tried to change usb port , but no luck

Hello, I'm really hoping someone can offer me some assistance with this issue.

I currently have a rooted P9 but had some issues earlier which resulted in the /data partition being unable to be mounted. I have tried everything I have read online to attempt to fix this. I cannot format or advanced wipe in TWRP, I am unable to wipe through bootloader and I have no idea what to do now. I am still able to boot to system but cannot flash stock rom or format partitions. The data partition is in the f2fs format which I believe means that it is encrypted. I have installed this recovery and am still having the same issues, I can't think of anything else I can do so I am open to any suggestions or support.

Thanks!

Then I have no idea. Maybe force install the last full firmware package with stock recovery. Download through the updater.
When trying to flash stock recovery I get "
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes
sending 'recovery' (35180 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.744s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished. total time: 0.750s"

However when I managed to earlier it said that there was an error getting the software package. I don't know what has changed but it now won't allow me to flash recovery whereas it would before.

Bootloader locked?

Hey this is a shot in the dark but earlier today I had a similar problem - it turned out FRP was active (when in bootloader it said 'Bootloader unlocked' and just beneath it 'FRP locked') , after enabling 'OEM unlocking' in developer options I could reflash TWRP (it seemed to turn off FRP). Hope this helps someone :good:

EDIT: Ran into the exact same problem, bootloader said 'Unlocked' but simply doing the normal 'fastboot oem unlock ...' seemed to somehow unlock the device again (maybe it wasn't locked in the first place?) allowing me to continue

Hi,

I'm having trouble flashing the TWRP. I have the bootloader and frp unlocked. Any ideas?

Code:
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes
sending 'recovery' (22396 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.476s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: image verification error)
finished. total time: 0.487s
