I flashed them all with on the latest Odin with no problemsWhich files do we flash from the factory image? Earlier someone posted not to do the csc files so I'm assuming just the BL and AP file from the factory image in odin. I forgot to make a backup image in twrp and while my tablet does boot, for whatever reason the Netflix app will never connect so I wanted to do a complete reset, system apps and all.
Thank you for the reply. Which CSC file do I use? I haven't used Odin since samsung infuse days and not used to the names of these files.I flashed them all with on the latest Odin with no problems

Thanks again. Maybe this'll fix the ****ty battery drain that won't let my tablet go to sleep as well.in this image
The battery was a little dissapointing, I agree. Thanks again. Maybe this'll fix the ****ty battery drain that won't let my tablet go to sleep as well.
Keeps failing. Pic below of failure and I uncheck auto-reboot as well. Where did you download your image? Maybe I just have a bad image even though I downloaded it twice now. Odin either fails or crashes every time I try to flash. The battery was a little dissapointing, I agree.
I use greenify with aggressive doze, hibernate nearly everything. I use titanium to freeze nearly everything pre-loaded on the tablet and that awful touchwiz launcher. I also use a screen resolution app to lower it when I don't need a sharp screen to do things. It made a difference. Don't delete anything, Samsung make everything a system app, it's a nightmare.. had to reflash countless times. Make sure you install a replacement launcher before you disable TouchWiz though

Also, when you re-root, follow ashyx's original advice in the first post, don't use this latest odin, use the version he suggests to install the recovery
the latest odin is Odin3 v3.12.3Keeps failing. Pic below of failure and I uncheck auto-reboot as well. Where did you download your image? Maybe I just have a bad image even though I downloaded it twice now. Odin either fails or crashes every time I try to flash.
also, don't uncheck auto reboot when just flashing the stock firmware, just apply and hit start, don't touch any settings.the latest odin is Odin3 v3.12.3
WOOT THANKS! That did the trick. I was using the older odin version because it is the one that OP stated to use to flash the recovery.the latest odin is Odin3 v3.12.3

I'm confident your issue will be fixed by using the latest version of ODIN
Ok, but now is the point you follow exactly what is stated in the first post. Now revert back to the version of ODIN stated in that post, and follow it exactly, and it will all work out.WOOT THANKS! assuming you want to re-root/twrp I mean..Ok, but now is the point you follow exactly what is stated in the first post. Now revert back to the version of ODIN stated in that post, and follow it exactly, and it will all work out.

And this time DO un-check auto-reboot
Yup. I'm back up and running with root. Oddly enough though for some reason netflix app still doesn't work, oh well.Ok, but now is the point you follow exactly what is stated in the first post. I will try to install netflix to replicate the issue? what is happening when you load the app?Yup. I'm back up and running with root. Oddly enough though for some reason netflix app still doesn't work, oh well.
Logo shows with the loading wheel under it which spins for a few minutes, then it errors out saying it can't connect with error -9. It worked before I installed twrp the first time. I started all my problems with odin and installing factory image because it never worked once I installed twrp and rooted which is odd as neither should affect it and I know netflix works with root as it works fine on my nexus 6pI will try to install netflix to replicate the issue? what is happening when you load the app?
That is my only guess. I mostly use my tablet when on my treadmill and I was watching netflix Friday so no clue what happened. Hopefully it is a botched update and it will be fixed soon.I am having the exact same issue, but I tried it under root just 2 days ago and it was fine... has there been some kind of update for netflix?
Thanks, I just didn't want to go against the advice that you had provided originally, just to be on the safe side.I just want to point out here, don't put anything in CP. You don't need to flash both CSC files. Just flash the HOME_CSC in the CSC slot.
Also there is no issue using the latest version of ODIN to flash the recovery image.
I just thought that if it's a botched update, there would be some kind of outrage, given the popularity of netflix! That is my only guess.
