ok well i officially been rooted for just about day ..... uninstalled massive bloat ware and now the phone is even snappier. Best 80 dollars ive ever spent on a phone . Even without a OC kernel or tweaked period just by changing the GOV. to On Demand from interactive made a huge difference .

Question @messi2050 do you need a donation device ?...ID love to see some roms and stuff coming out for this device or do you know of any forum/ sites that already have development on the way for this device .

So I'm having an issue finding stock firmware for k 20 plus.
I rooted it thru the process on this thread and everything worked great. I sold the phone to someone who ended up erasing a majority of the apps not realizing they needed the superSU in turn they where having issues (504 error) and couldnt install any apps at all. Last night I was trying to find a solution and wiped the entire OS while in the twrp recovery ( I know .. Dont wanna talk about it) needless to say I spent the entire night trying to find a copy of the stock firmware or even a custom ROM that's compatible because I can still boot into recovery and bootload mode. All I could find was a file titled TP26010K_00_0316.kdz I have tried to create a flashable zip out of it with no luck. If anyone has any info regarding a Custom ROM that's compatible or the stock ROM it would be much appreciated. Thx the model of this device is the LG-TP260

You can use lg up to restore your device , it's the tool used to flash lg kdz.

I seen that on the other thread but it wouldnt recognize the device no matter how I tried . I followed the take the battery out instructions and all. I even went into the mount section of tarp because u can enable and disable mtp there thinking it would trigger it but nothing

You should reboot into download mode from inside twrp or using the hardware buttons to get your device detected

ok that worked thx LGUP recognized my device but when I hit select the next window is titled
LGUPDlg
LGUP cant load the model [C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\com
I cant help but think this has something to do with the version or installation of LGUP because the thread showed 3 different download links one was "not found" the 2nd was a G4.rar and the last one was the link to install but the instructions said ....
Install LGUP_8994_DLL_Ver_0_0_3_23 first and then LGUP_Install_Ver_1_14_3......
which I didnt see or find on the links

still getting same error message

Is there anyway to turn that .kdz file into a flashable .zip?
Or any other way at all to flash it on there maybe thru fastboot?

Thank you so much the thread you sent has a .exe called uppercut which finally after 2 days of trying every possible reason let the LGUP recognize my device and it turn I was able to flash the stock .kdz I really appreciate it.

Man you can check my development history, it's not my first time to post a recovery or root for a device... on this device, it worked for 90% of the users but there are some who didn't manage to get it to work.
